" Unfortunately, we just received word from the vinyl manufacturing plant that the Muck vinyl has been delayed a few months due to a brutal combination of COVID-19 & supply chain issues. At this point, our best estimate is that Muck vinyl will now ship on or around January 22. If the vinyl happens to arrive sooner than that, we will certainly send it out before this date, but right now it's not a guarantee based on what we know from the manufacturer. We are deeply sorry for this disappointing news. But rest assured, once we receive the vinyl we'll be packing these puppies up and sending them out to you ASAP! While we know we can't necessarily make up for the delay, to help make it sting just a little bit less, we'll be including a super special v exclusive goodie from the band that will only be made available to folks that have already pre-ordered the vinyl! This special item will not be made available to the public."

So after a month Square finally got back to me about my damaged boxset, here's what they said: "Thank you for your continued patience. Regarding your warranty issue, we offer the following options: - A 15% partial refund from the original purchase. This will not require the defective item to be returned. - A full replacement but this will require the defective item to be returned to us. We would issue you a return label to ship the item at our cost. However, due to current California Ordnance regarding the quarantine due to Covid-19, our offices are closed. We would not be able to provide an ETA on when we can ship a replacement until it is deemed safe to do so." So a $16 refund, or a replacement they'll ship whenever. Jesus christ lol.

So apparently Blink's dropping an 8 track EP in the fall, 4 tracks sound like Nine, 4 sound like TOYPAJ material. Sounds like Quarantine is one of the latter batch so who knows at this point.

Buy a new cartridge, set the tone arm weight appropriately (set it to 0 flat center, use a balanced pencil for reference), and don't drop your tone arm onto records or the table anymore, aka don't operate your turntable when you're drunk. Trust me. I've learned this the hard way myself lol.
