Yeah, I'd have to agree. I just saw them this weekend and the new material just doesn't seem to hold up against the older material. Less guitars and way more synths, but not in a good way. I saw them a bunch of times when OWU and LIO were released and it's like night and day compared to their shows now. The time capsule looks alright, but the 3D viewer box thing they did for Synthetica was better (I'm looking for one if anyone is selling BTW). It wouldn't surprise me if they sold out though. Metric fans will still buy it.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about the shipping from the UK, but it's one of the rare instances where shipping to Canada isn't a total rip-off (and is exactly the same amount to the US).

I pre-ordered from the Battles store just to make sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Amazon orders had it too. I was even thinking of just waiting to pick it up when they come to town and save on the shipping, but who knows if those copies will have it?

Mirrored is one of my favourite albums, but Tyondai left the band afterwards; so I would go listen to Gloss Drop first, as that's probably more indicative of their sound now.
