Just got a shipping notice for Room on Fire. Funny how I'm getting this before GOTG...

Hopefully the boxsets will be available from the other artists and not just PJ. The frenzy that occurs whenever they release stuff like this is insane.

If anyone is wondering about their next album, they played a few songs last night at their 20th anniversary show. I talked to the guys afterwards and they're still writing/recording with a general timeline of 6-8 months until completion.

I'll also throw my hat into the ring if someone has an extra. Doesn't look like these are going to make their way over the border into Canada.

Yeah, it's been on the shelf at Rotate since at least Saturday when I was in there. Didn't notice if it was black or coloured since I figured the entire initial run was coloured. They're playing the Sony Centre in May, so maybe they'll be selling coloured copies at the show?

Yeah, the hockey team are shit (see avatar for the team I prefer) and the government sucks (all three levels), but I do enjoy the city. I was born here, so I guess I'm biased. But I'm pretty used to the rest of the country crapping on Toronto for whatever reason. I'm sure you're already familiar with the plethora of record stores here, but If you need some suggestions I can help you out.
