I think the box set was for the CD version, but they do have LP bundles which comes with about 4 LPs and a single or two for a great price, pretty much translates into one free record if you buy a vinyl set. Set 1 | Set 2 | Set 3. There's also a deluxe. Id totally jump all over these if I didn't already own a few from each set.

I was JUST reading your post whilst taking a nice dump, when the postman knocks for a package, and surely it was the Grizzly Bear Blue Valentine soundtrack. I was so excited, I didn't even have time to wipe. Now it spins while finishing the dump I had originally started. This is a textbook great morning.

So last week, my mom called and said "hey, looks like you got some records in the mail, do you want me to send them to you?" I thought it was weird because I haven't had anything shipped to my mom's house in years. (It's on the other side of the country.) I asked who they were from and she said Merge Records, which was extra weird because the only order I've made with Merge recently already arrived at my place in LA.
 
I said not to worry about forwarding it and I'll get it when I'm home for the holidays. But moms gonna mom, and she sent it anyway, and today this showed up on my doorstep:

Two or three years ago, I donated to a Kickstarter project because one of the rewards was that JD would draw a sketch of you as a D&D-style monster, complete with a backstory and statistics and stuff. Long story short, after many delays, the lady behind the Kickstarter basically peaced out with everyone's money and never delivered the product or any of the perks. Some people reached out to JD and he said he would still deliver the sketches, but then he had a kid, went on tour, published a book, etc. By now, I had just assumed that he'd forgotten about the whole thing, and I wouldn't have blamed him if he had; it wasn't his responsibility. But the man came through and delivered on his promise (and then some), and that is just one of the reasons why I will back tMG forever and ever.

Okay, so I've been doing a bit of research. Looks like that 1/20 date might be a placeholder as every site that has these listed has a different date. The dates vary from 1/20 - 2/18. Some things I've found out (not 100% though):

I'd be skeptical of the "fits 70" description on that. Those LP cases always seem to exaggerate how many they can carry.

It says it's 9.5" deep. That's approximately 50 standard LPs or 30 gatefolds.
 
I'd guess you could ship them for less. Get/make a box that snugly fits your records, wrap that box in tons of thick bubble-wrap, put everything in a bigger box. Shouldn't be any issues.

you could always ship the covers to yourself and pack the records in the box with extra padding.

Does anyone know where to get one of these? I would love to be able to display which record is currently spinning. Maybe I'm just using the right search keywords. I lifted the picture from any user on here, so thanks

I can't report the same SQ issues, albeit I jumped right into the second volume (orange).  So far I'm onto the C side and they sound great!

I've join this forum to see if I can get any advice in regards to a project I am undertaking
I have decided to turn my passion for music into a career and I'm looking into the possibility of starting my own collectors and new records, CD's and memorabilia retail business.
Do any of you guys have any experience or know of anybody who would be kind enough to offer help and advice?
