Never struggled so much on whether to get something. I had the box set in my cart, but couldn't deal paying $100 for TOHV and the box set. So went with the basic Red Tree and TOHV. Still super glad to own this on vinyl nonetheless. $62 shipped.

Yeah true.... I really liked Joy Departed because it was a mix of shreddy stuff and slower pieces. The 7" made sense, but only as a stand alone. A whole album of that would drag badly. But I'm pretty sure I saw an interview where he said it wasn't going to be like the 7"

Yeah it's different every month. I think there's only two more months of January and February, then it ends. Someone might sell theirs. Also be on the lookout because a month ago they did a sale where they sold each months items individually. In other words there were like 4-5 copies of each months items.

They have a monthly subscription, this came in the Christmas package. It contains dictophone recordings from the "Wildlife" sessions. So in other words, some guitar riffs, some lyrics etc. I played about 5 minutes of it, and decided I wanted to wait for time time to listen.

Still.... would love to hear a banger get flipped acoustic. And 1 of these was already released for the Still Searching deluxe anyways.

Anyone want to clarify this for me? Got an email today saying that for the raffle tickets I bought for the /10 variant I need to bring ID to their shop to claim my tickets. So obviously since I live nowhere near the east coast, do I just not actually get entered into the raffle? Or just thought this now, is it just because they put it under store "ticket" category and it automatically sends those emails for show reminders?

You just made my decade. Been wanting both Theory and Red Tree for a while. Bought both on CD back in the day and played them to death.

Legitimately, no. 1) I bike everywhere still because I'm a college student. 2) The closest record store to me is 1 hour 20 on bike and the next is about 2 hours. I only go about once besides RSD. On RSD I leave at 4AM ish to get there around 5:30-6AM. Record Store proximity will honestly probably be a factor when I move after graduation in about 8 months, right after internet providers in the neighborhood.

Absolutely.... I remember when Underoath released the 2x10" box set and it was like $40. I was 16 probably and was about to get it even though I didn't have a working record player. Now you can't get it for $200. Also remember when Thrice released the Alchemy Index 4xLP and it was affordable. Now you can't get it and it will probably never get repressed...

Need to get one of these. I was avoiding these forums until after I had bought all my Christmas gifts. This album has a huge meaning for me..... this was one of my first non-fest concerts in 2008 years ago. The line sold out right in front of us (both because of them, but also because A Skylit Drive was recording a DVD that night). My friends and I were super upset, but after some begging the guitarist from This or the Apocolypse gave us a comp ticket and let us take turns seeing bands. Will never forget that night.

Lauren Records is releasing a new split between PENs+ (Japan) and Leer (San Jose). Both bands are kinda mathy, PENs+ is a little more melodic and Leer is a little more chaotic, which just makes this split more interesting IMO.
