  1. If you want to be technical, you're spending an additional $23 for a sexier variant. [i'm assuming the standard "back" is also 180 gram.] Along with 14 individual pieces of art (with lyrics, and hopefully liner notes), bundled inside a presumably sweet box. For me, half the appeal of vinyl is immersing myself in the experience. Additional art, lyrics, and liner notes are totally a part of that. I can't wait to sit down with this thing and disconnect from the world for a good 40 - 60 minutes. A signed lithograph or print would've been icing on the cake, but I have no beef with the price tag. The quality of the High Violet LP, in itself, is remarkable: I'm expecting a top-notch product with this release.
  2. I personally didn't pull the trigger on the numbered / stamp release, but I recall someone mentioning an e-mail and refund from Warner?
  3. Specifically, Converge's latest comes to mind. Most recently, Paramore is looking at a setback. Deftones' latest also saw a vinyl release more than a month after its street launch.
  4. How about the end of last year, when seemingly every other release was stalled by the (fucking) Beatles' repress?
  5. You definitely should have received it by now. I'm willing to bet you were actually refunded for your cancelled order, as a lot of people seemed to be. Maybe the cancellation e-mail slipped past you?
  6. Are there any Garnier products or samples included with the bundle?
  7. Sure is. Is that at all relevant to the album's 06/17 release date?
  8. I'd like those odds if I had the opportunity to order a single copy to begin with, ha.
  9. Joking aside, that's all kinds of awesome. Congrats on scoring a pink.
  10. Did you get shafted on the shipping? I selected Media Mail for $4.88. I'm pretty content with it.
  11. Ordered with the swiftness a throbbing erection. I'm into that pricing, too.
  12. I, too, am currently nonplussed by the single. I haven't truly enjoyed this band since Songs for the Deaf, but that's just me. Really loving that new album art, though.
  13. "Soon" is probably the most ambiguous and overused timeframe ever.
  14. Just perfect. If the center labels are black, I'd probably sploosh. Holding off on any new tracks or singles, though the wait is going to be damn hard.
  15. I'm well aware of how discussions operate. But thanks for the condescending tone, bud. It never gets old. The "fact of the matter" is that you could have easily said that someone [whether you used my name or not is irrelevant] jumped on you for something that was initially misread. The whole "yeah, and when I called him on it, he couldn't come up with a response. They never can" bullshit is what I found to be redundant. I still think you did a lackluster job at diffusing that situation. I.e., I may have wrongfully sparked the fire, but you sure had a funny way of trying to fan it out. But I digress.
