  1. Still confused why more people aren't hopping on the Amazon link.
  2. I typically try not to be a bitch here at VC, and I do my best to follow the if you don't have anything nice to say... mantra. But I've got to say, fuck... • $8.00 shipping for a record in the U.S. • An extra $2.00 / 10%+ of the price to add "haze" to your clear vinyl. • That album art. In that order. I'm sure the music itself will deliver, though, since The Collective was pretty ace, and a great step up from Carving Desert Canyons. Can't wait to hear where these guys progress.
  3. I grabbed it from the band's Big Cartel, linked above by ptrsev. I'm not sweating it too much... but as pointed out, the listing for the LP no longer exists. And aside from a receipt saying that my Paypal was charged, I've received no confirmation of my order.
  4. I'm on the fence about labeling it as perfect, so soon, but I'm in agreement with the rest. It's literally everything I was hoping the new Appleseed album would sound like. I usually make fun of people who blurt out AOTY! prematurely, but I've been thinking about everything that's been released in 2013 so far... and I've got to say that this trumps most of it.
  5. Would you mind defining "awhile"? - I've seen nor heard anything since date of purchase.
  6. Seriously, more power to you. You picked a great time to sell.
  7. That's a lot of money for a mediocre album by an awful band.
  8. So... someone's going to be awesome and sell me their Record Club variant of this, right?
  9. I've got a friend in the market for a colored Oceanic, and I'm looking for a specific Pantopticon variant. Can you elaborate on the description for these, outside of "colour"?
  10. I will definitely be adjusting the title accordingly, but Juan and other VC regulars usually notify everyone of POs long before I can. They seem to go up when I'm at work or asleep, exclusively.
  11. I know that Graveface confirmed a second press in the works already, so you should definitely be alright to wait. So long as you're not overly concerned about missing out on a first press or anything. And I agree: Graveface's prices are unbeatable, and their packaging is highly respectable as well. Quality music and product for very humble prices.
  12. Wait, wait. This is your entry into the band? I thought you were gunning for a specific variant. I'm not sure if you were aware, but this album was repressed recently, and is still available through Graveface for $15 PPD. On some sweet green-on-green wax, no less. But your eBay win is nothing to shake a stick at, either. Anyway. Appleseed is a pretty incredible band. I'm inclined to admit that the hype is justified. Their discography is rather vast, and it's all pretty much ace. I'd make an effort to grab their upcoming release, Illumination Ritual. It's extremely solid, and also available at Graveface. You definitely won't regret it.
  13. I intentionally skipped all the album previews and even the single[s?] to avoid spoilers... and I'm glad I did. I gave Illumination Ritual a whirl last night... and cliché as it may sound, it was certainly an experience. Very glad I held out, personally. It was pretty much exactly what I expected a new Appleseed album to sound like, and I mean that in the best way possible. I can sense that it already has room to grow, but I was rather pleased on the first, attentive go-through.
  14. I've got to say... after seeing colored variants of this for years and years, that black wax looks pretty sexy.
  15. Highly unlikely, though, is what I'm saying. If you were the second highest bid, and the top bidder placed a bid for $5,000, he'd win it for $.50 over your bid. It would appear you lost by half a dollar.
  16. But probably way more than $0.50, if you truly understand how bidding works.
  17. You would've been chastised for that as well. You really can't win. But to be fair, I'd assume that most people are probably aware of What.CD. Especially in the last six years.
  18. No worries. Just had a few questions on the tagging, on a few tracks. I think that solves it though. Thanks a ton.
  19. Didn't even realize it was that old. I feel like we've been seeing a lot of these piracy topics as of late, so it more or less seemed right in place. But yeah. Homework does have a thing for ridiculous necro-bamps.
  20. You know what's crazy about eBay? How unbelievably long a week's auction takes, when you're foaming at the mouth to snipe something rad.
  21. Wait. Why? Laughably elite registration-process aside, What.cd is pretty much the pinnacle of piracy.
