  1. The label website does not list it yet but several EU retailers as well as Cargo Distribution. Bullet Treatment - What More Do You Want (w/ Matt Caughthran of The Bronx on vocals) July 13, 2018 White Vinyl / 500 (Black Vinyl? - option is available at Flight 13.com) Cargo Juno Green Hell Flight 13 Core Tex White vinyl - limited 500 copies ! Trying to descibe Bullet Treatment to someone who has never heard of them or know what they are about is just impossible. There's has never been a band like this before. Purposely changing band line-ups just to do things different, this the 5th version. They have released music on Fat Wreck Chords and Think Fast! Records in the past. Started by guitarist Chuck Dietrich, the band has featured over 30 members over its long history including Tim McIlrath of Rise Against, Matt Caughthran of The Bronx, and Dave Hildago Jr. from Social Distortion. Bullet Treatment songs "Grindstone", "Spread My Legs", "A Reason For Violence", "Hand In Hand", "Pointless Conversation", and "Not Afraid Of The World" have been featured on MTV's television show Nitro Circus. In the past Bullet Treatment also featured members from Faith no More, Cancer Bats, Comeback Kid, Swingin` Utters, Grave For The Fireflies, Rock Kills Kid, Civet, The Drips, The Voids, Jeffries Fan Club, RF7 and more_ They pretty much sound exactly like all the bands that they like.... THE RAMONES, BAD RELIGION, MISFITS, 7 SECONDS, CIRCLE JERKS, ANGRY SAMOANS, TSOL, MINOR THREAT, & BAD BRAINS !!!! So here are seventeen of the fastest, loudest, craziest punk tunes to be heard in quite sometime. Leader of the pack and sometime drummer, bassist and in this case guitarist D.C. has thrown together some tunes that might bare comparisons to such great bands as Minor Threat, Angry Samoans, 7 Seconds, and the Circle Jerks. While putting the finishing touches on The Bronx first full length cd, vocalist Matt had limited time to come in and do vocals, as a result the intensity is at an all time high with just about every song done in it's first take. While bassist JoJo and drummer Dan E. are at times border lining on completely losing control they manage to just keep things at bay long enough to get through the songs. Think Minor Threat and Hüsker Dü's "Land Speed Record" with a heavy Los Angeles influence. All the songs on this LP bare this same classic punk touch with incredible speed-drumming, fearce and churning guitars and raw-shouting yet clear vocals that altogether reminded me of long-time classic acts like M.D.C. or 7 Seconds and the likes. I'm delibirately not using the term "hardcore" to define this music, although I'm sure a lot of you will label it as such, but there's too much a degree of melody in these attacking songs to use it. Not in a newschool melodic sense, but these guitars all have these great loops and simple chords which I rarely see any band play at this speed anymore. I'm aware that there's no artistic standout stuff in what this band is doing technically, but the energy, the boost of power and speed dripping from these songs, along with my nostalgic feelings that come with listening to this 1-2 minute songs, makes it a great LP. You'll have to be open for some heavy shit when you buy it, but if you like your bands fast and furious without a degree of metal or growling voices, I'm sure you'll love it as much as we do. And the vocals from the Bronx vocalist Matt Caughtran on this album are just outstanding!

  4. Would be very interesting to see all text from the runout! I'm curious where the reissues were pressed. The Swami pressings were presumably pressed at RTI or plated there at least... Thank you!
  5. The Swami pressings have GOLDEN in the run-out. I don't know about the Sub Pop reissues. But those are the ones which were remastered by Dave Gardner. Remains unanswered who cut lacquers for the reissues unfortunately...
  6. Thanks! Obviously the recordings were remastered by him from the original tapes for all formats (CD/MC/LP). It does not imply he also cut the lacquers though. It's a different step in the process. I don't know if he cuts lacquers at all?
  7. The Swami pressings cut at Golden Mastering sound incredible. Do the Sub Pop reissues have GOLDEN in the dead wax? I wouldn't expect they used the same stampers for some reason.
  8. Search didn't come up with an existing thread... Release March 16, 2018. Preorder for Europe: Loser edition on black vinyl, regular edition on clear vinyl. https://www.flight13.com/details/hot-snakes-jericho-sirens-128822?locale=en https://greenhell.de/Hot-Snakes-Jericho-Sirens_5 https://www.finestvinyl.de/rock-vinyl-en/hot-snakes-jericho-sirens/?item=121669
  9. Thank you! It's a different cut than the original. Repress obviously cut and pressed at Optimal Media in Germany. Original was cut and pressed at Record Industry in The Netherlands.
  10. Good to hear! I have an original pressing of this and from what I remember it sounds great, too. Would you mind stating the matrix info for comparing it? Thanks!

  12. I received a 2€ refund today although I never contacted them about it. I ordered the vinyl bundle for 46€ while it dropped to 44€ in the meantime. It's not much but for me the gesture counts they are doing this.
  13. Another question: is it embossed as the original jacket? Thanks!
  14. Yes, very interesting and helpful. And yes, pretty sure the records were pressed at Zenith according to the matrix info. I assume the forthcoming EU editions were pressed by GZ Media in the Czech Republic and will have their matrix info. Obviously the jackets were manufactured there only and shipped then to Australia. Not unheard of. Thanks for this information!
  15. Can you identify where these were pressed? Or can give the info from the matrix, please? I have originals of I and II and it would be very interesting to know if they used the same stampers/pressing plant. Does any of them come as gatefold, inserts/lyrics sheet etc.? Thank you!
  16. A little hard to tell but to me the one on the left looks like clear/blue and on the right white/blue. Would that be correct?
  17. @bluescreenlife: sorry, that I'm reviving this old thread. I have a question about your copy. Are you satisfied with the pressing quality of this red Ipecac pressing? Are you experiencing poor pressing quality with pops and crackling on both records and particularly on the first song of side D? I read some mixed opinions about it. Thank you!
  18. Only the E.U. Standard/Indie/Deluxe pressed by Optimal. Pressing plant for the U.S. Standard/Indie remains unclear. There is no indication. Definitely not Optimal though. U.S. Deluxe pressed by Pallas indeed.
  19. Went with the clear/blue variant, too. I hope it will not be pressed by United Record Pressing or Rainbo. The pressing quality of both would not justify the item price, in my opinion.
  20. From my experience, Record Industry usually delivers pretty good pressings but I have experienced the same problems with distorted sound/inner groove distortion with the Epitaph pressings only, e.g. Rancid - and out come the wolves (20th anniversary EU edition on 180g black vinyl) and also Descendents - Hypercaffium Spazzinate (green/black swirl and clear/black swirl variants).
  21. I have the EU on clear vinyl, pressed by Record Industry in the Netherlands. Yes, it does not sound good. In my opinion it was just cut too hot which causes distortion. Also inner groove distortion is a problem with my copy. I know the problem is not my setup.
  22. Could it be the regular black variant is EU exclusive? I know of at least two EU mailorders which advertise it as that (EMP + finestvinyl). Or is the black variant regularly available outside of the EU as well?
