With regard to how shitty the Used is:
I recognize this as fact now, but 15 years ago, they were my favorite band. I saw them a number of times live (which is how I "discovered" them to begin with). That is what made them, to me. Seeing this (then) unknown, racous band opening up for pop-punk-phenoms Mest was completely unexpected. Furthermore my 14-year-old self couldn't restrain the urge to go crazy, stage dive, and fall in love with an unknown band for the first time (at this tiny place called the Cotton Club in ATL) when all I really expected was some whiny kids singing "top down, seat back, rolling in my Cadillac." 
So, yeah, they aren't the best band, but during that "noughty" time, they changed my perception of music available to me. And of course, they would later be responsible for me discovering who Coheed and Cambria were (prior to IKS release). 
I owe them a lot of my taste in music despite the fact that some of their lyrics make me cringe now. 
So, for better or worse, I will be buying these relases in some form and will be proud of it. 
I don't even know why I bothered typing all of this. Maybe I need a real life therapist. Maybe I'm just bored. 

Had to jump on this because who knows when/if they'll just do a normal press on TOCS. I had extra cash since JEW got pushed back again so eh tis the season.. As long as it sounds great, I'll survive the weak artwork/combo deal.

Had a brief heart attack thinking I missed out. I went with the red, but also really wanted the blue, ugh!  Since it's a double they could have done the A/B on red and C on blue,but I'll live. I really don't like that they added an extremely random spew of albums that are widely available to their catalog, it makes it annoying to browse through to see what is up now, They probably did it to increase revenue, but meh stick with the unique releases. I also grabbed the three 7" as well, hurrah..

Not sure how I missed this but looks like Brittany from the "shakes" has a side project and dropped an album. Sounds pretty solid, so I grabbed one as not many were probably made. The shop looks like it's through the Shakes webstore, so may be a "not on label/self release". I did a quick search to see if this has been talked about but I did not see anything so here ya go.

I originally preordered this back in June for a release in July, but it disappeared immediately, I just got an email that it is scheduled for November 13th now. I know this has had a few pressings, I already have this on green, but for $13.98 I'll definitely snag a backup.

It's a crime that The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most has not been pressed yet. I'm sure it would sell reasonably well too. Someone get on this!
