The Music - The Music (Leeds UK band)

The video is 1080p, not sure about the audio, and it's not app-based - it's an exclusive video unlocked on their website via password. Seriously makes the album much more appreciable (coming from one who loves it even without a visual medium).

Got the deluxe edition in a couple of days ago. The "world's first Hologram Album" is a damn fine, might impressive surprise! I expect all future albums to support this medium.

S/T is one of my favorite albums ever and I dug ABL, but man... I just can't get onboard with anything they've done since.
 
Most has felt like pretentious wannabe-U2 anthemic stuff generated by a paint-by-numbers song robot. But I also feel guilty saying that because I know Jared Leto is a damn good guy.

If for some reason you still haven't opened it in a month, I recommend opening it from the right side as I did, which allows it to be slipped into a plastic sleeve with the opening on top.
Also, just saw tool and primus on Halloween in Tempe, and both were incredible! Tool's setlist was unexpected and hugely satisfying.

He should stop trying to play keys & drums at the same time, because that's something he can't do...
 
Nevertheless, those guys from Equal Vision aren't stupid...their "regular" single LPs go for 14.99 or 15.99...why not put $10 on top of the release of a more famous band and milk their fans?
 
BTW, it says that there are 1250 on the webstore...so they've probably pressed 2500 (or even more?) and sell them through other channels

Goddammit, I am tired of people complaining about the cost of a record. I see people dropping $25 on two Budweisers at a concert. I see people dropping $5 a day on their stupid Starbucks shit. I see people dropping $50+ to drink at a bar every weekend. If you don't want to pay $25 for a great record, something you can listen to and enjoy again and again, then get the fuck out of vinyl collecting. Or just steal the mp3s. Jesus Christ.
 
And go ahead and downvote this all you want, but you know I'm right. Fucking $25. That's an hour of work for the average college grad.

I took a road trip to Tucson to see Dredg play two nights in a row at Club Congress. The first night I had discovered RX Bandits as I mentioned yesterday, who co-headlined, and Dredg played after them. It was incredible, lot of energy, great responsive crowd...and they (both bands) sounded perfect! Second night, for some reason Dredg played the same set of songs for pretty much the same people from the night before, which I thought was kinda weird...but it enabled a more relaxed and intimate, listening kinda vibe. Intimate enough that Dino came up to the front mic and asked the crowd if anyone wanted to play drums for the next song. Since my friends and I were up front, they all immediately freaked out and pointed to me, making it difficult for Dino to select anybody else. My favorite band, especially at that time, picked me to fuckin play drums for them!? (!!!!!!!) Such a wildly cool experience...and afterwards, got have drinks with Dino, Drew, and Mark, and Dino let me keep the sticks. Oh, and since I had my camera, I was able to capture not only one of the greatest possible concert experiences, but also one of the coolest things that's ever happened to me. It is on Youtube.

Well, to be fair Arnold may have been late to the Holiday Wintertainment parade, that always sets him off...

D/R/T was initally recorded as one song. Hence why on the back of the lateralus CD there is a connecting line to all the songs. They do not fit natively on a LP and the track list was reordered as such.
I kinda feel like this thread is slightly irrelevant given that there is a website for this that is considered to be the go-to source.
