I'm fully aware that Liberals would prefer to wipe their asses with the Constitution but I'm actually a big fan of it and no that doesn't make me right wing.
Did you mean to tweet this? Not sure this is relevant here.

Take that to Twitter as well
I know you own a "Don't Tread On Me" flag but I'm still trying to figure out how many...

You can go on Twitter if you wanna cry about Ryan Adams' Me Too problems.
What if we think he's a lizard person created from the government's subhumanoid project funded by the globalist george soros and the mainstream media agenda?

Almost as full of shit as someone who gets on their high horse about Ryan Adams and his Me Too troubles but goes off to vote for to try and elect a rapist into the highest position of power this country has to offer.
Bless your projecting, holier than thou heart.

Aww, poor guy has nothing real to add to the conversation so he just relies on insults to comfort himself from his own exposed hypocrisy...
Sounds like something MAGAt would do.
Keep telling yourself that slick. The more you talk, the more we know how full of shit you are.

I know, it's definitely not comfortable nor convenient when you get schooled by someone who actually doesn't allow themselves to get gaslit into believing loads and loads of Billionaire Influenced State Department Propaganda
I imagine you saying this at the singles table at every wedding you're invited to out of guilt.

No, Leftists don't watch CNN all day. Actual leftists don't that right wing Brainwash Corporatist programming at all.
Liberals watch CNN all day, there's a difference considering Liberals are not on the left side of the Political Spectrum. Maybe 40 years ago, but that ended when Clinton decided to turn the Democratic Party into a 2nd Republican Party. Now they just Gaslight their cultist followers into believing they're still a 'Party of The People'.
Whenever you walk away from a group at a party, they talk about how exhausting you are to be around.

New album is great you just happen to suck at Ryan Adams
I thought we were separating the art from the person? Both suck.

I literally came in here to talk about the dude's new album and had to sift through 30 posts of Me Too high horse garbage first.
The album sucks. He sucks. There's no hypocrisy. No one is stopping you from talking about the new album. You're just whining about sifting through posts and how the conversation isn't what you want it to be.
There's a song called "Who's Going To Love Me Now, If Not You" on it. Come on, dude. How are you going to talk about the new album with song titles like that and not bring up his personal shit.

I think what you're saying is that if someone is truly principled about "cancelling' an artist based on that artist's misconduct, why should it matter whether the music is good or lousy?
I think ntslash is candidly acknowledging that it's much easier to stick to your principles if you don't feel like you're sacrificing that much.
Yeah, really well said. Because it wasn't about separating the art from the artist.

Good god you’re dense.
I just don't understand the sentiment "the new song really sucks makes it a lot easier to cancel this guy."
It's weird take. If that makes me dense to you, that's ok.

Sure, I'd be happy to walk you through it:
Some people have a hard time separating the art from the artist and think you shouldn't consume the art of shitty people. Others prefer to separate the art from the artist and will continue to consume the art, possibly while also acknowledging the artist is a shitty person.
The general consensus is that Ryan Adams is a shitty person. As such, some argue his music should be cancelled. Others will still listen to his music because they like it and they feel like they can separate the art from the artist.
The new song that was released today is really shitty. When a shitty person makes shitty art, it's really easy not to consume it.
On the other hand, if the new song had been great, I probably would have bought the new album.
But separating the art from the artist means one should not inform the other. You're listening to the music first and then grading the ease of your cancellation based on the art.

The fact that the new song really sucks makes it a lot easier to cancel this guy.

If corgan wasn't bigoted/transphobic n' shit then I would definitely take issue with that, but fuck him lol
Totally agree. Fuck him for sure. That's not not true. But a lot of people deserve to paid for their work on an official release vs a bootleg. I don't think there's ever a reason to buy a bootleg. It's a fake record just sitting in your collection. But let's not forget, fuck billy corgan.

i said "bootleg" not bootleg, because as i have now mentioned multiple times, it does not look like a bootleg.
interesting how you can use hyperbole, yet not understand it when it is used by someone else.
you are dumb.
I'm not using hyperbole. How do you not see that it doesn't matter what this listing is when you said you'd give money to bootleggers over Corgan? Spend your money how you want but get off your pedestal about how you won't pay the artist if you can "CIRCUMVENT THAT" when we all know bootleggers are a cancer of the hobby.

1. This doesn’t appear to be a bootleg, as it says Virgin for the label.
2. If it is a bootleg, so long as the bootleggers aren’t using their platform (which is nowhere near the same platform Corgan has) to go on Alex Jones’ podcast, I feel better giving them money.
3. Learn to not only read, but comprehend.1. Doesn't matter because I'm addressing the fact you don't care if it's a bootleg or not.
2. I didn't know you were going to research the bootleggers and their platform to make sure they align with your values. Let us know what you find.
3. Your logic defies comprehension.

to be fair, it says virgin on the listings, so do we have another mars volta situation, where it is a completely legal repress and homeboy just signed a bad contract? perhaps.
also, lemme make it more clear: THIS FUCKHEAD BLEW HIS WAD ON A FAILED WRESTLING LEAGUE VENTURE AND GOES ON ALEX JONES' PODCAST SPEWING BULLSHIT. IF I DON'T HAVE TO GIVE HIM MY MONEY, I AM HAPPY TO CIRCUMVENT THAT.
But you're cool giving money to bootleggers to listen to said fuckhead? You draw a curvy ass line my friend.

you are correct. The original green press is the only one with the original Hash Pipe. The MOFI press has the altered version.
Good to know. Glad I bought it at Hot Topic when it came out for $12.
