Did anyone have a go at the red pressing of Surfing - Deep Fantasy that 100% Electronica put up yesterday? They went in under a minute. It was bananas.

I bought it straight from the Schnitz and can confirm it is a great pressing, as per.

Sure the music sucks, but that bbq chicken...that's the deal.

I have one of each of these now and am going to do a proper shootout when I get a chance; likely around Christmas. I'll post back here with any pertinent thoughts.

Yeah, the vinyl colors for this deluxe set were uninspired to begin with and the execution was suboptimal. But, hey, the music is awesome.

I did just try to put three in my cart and it wouldn't let me so maybe they are doing some of that. I wonder if people went back and made second orders and they are cancelling those or if the cart restrictions weren't turned on the first time through.

Did they just drop another batch of the original 2K or is it a small number of refunds from folks that tried to buy 10 even though it was limited to 2?

There were two up for $65 a piece shipped and they went lickety split.

Hmm. I just checked and I was wrong; I bought the box set late night/early morning as well. Maybe they shipped single item orders faster because they were shy on bulk mailers or something? Or maybe it's just chaos.

I ordered the Sweetheart of the Rodeo box from them on Saturday afternoon and it left the post office on Monday so they were pretty quick with that one. Though they have hiked the price a smidge since then.

Well kudos to you. That's a rare bird thus far and a nice find. Though my point still stands as even the two places you mentioned by name listed it for $45-50 because of the region restriction and lack of direct distribution.
