  1. It's a special variant which, outside of a few copies sold online today, will be exclusively available at the official merchandise booth at shows on the John Carpenter 2018 Tour.
  2. Sacred Bones usually does a really good job. Bummed I missed the tour edition this morning. I've picked up tour editions of all of the other JC wax myself or with the help of a buddy (h/t @djghost1976). Ah well. Cookies, crumbling, etc.
  3. The deluxe is up at Bullmoose now. https://www.bullmoose.com/p/27723651/john-grant-love-is-magic-deluxe-clear-vinyl-deluxe-clear-vinyl-2lp
  4. It could be a combination of customer cancellations as you've proposed combined with SB cancelling duplicate orders, orders of folks that purchased multiple copies, and different orders going to the same address.
  5. Obviously that's why, I'm just saying it's odd for PJ (or perhaps Newbury) to call it the Fenway variant when, for any Red Sox fan - or baseball fan for that matter-, Fenway conjures the color of dark kelly green not blue and red. I'm not pissed about it. Just seems off. There you go. Maybe someone at Newbury blew it.
  6. Thanks for the link. I'm not a standard square mailer fellow either and I am also a proponent of the cardboard square theory. I have stacks of them.
  7. Has anyone bought mailers from this seller before? I'd like to partake, but not if they show up wafer thin with corners like soft cheese.
  8. Or why the "Fenway" variant is blue and red instead of green or green and red? I'm sure they can't legally say Red Sox, but it's an odd choice of color/labelling.
  9. Yep. I sincerely hope it comes out sounding good because it will be great to get a (clean sounding) expanded version on wax.
  10. One of the greatest scores of all time. Glad more folks will be able to own the expanded version on vinyl.
  11. All of the scores contain fairly different music. Not nearly as much rehashed/reused as on the F13 series outside of the main theme. And even that gets pretty different treatments from film to film. That said, unless you want to collect the new artwork, it sounds like H2&3 will be the same presentations as before, music and master-wise. Perhaps H1 as well.
  12. It will be interesting to see how complete this really is, but it'll be great to have on vinyl regardless. Still, it would be special to get some of the unreleased cues from that film.
  13. Same issue for me. Thanks for the link though, Clerk. Much appreciated. EDIT: There are a bunch of people grousing about the same issue elsewhere so I take it I'm not alone. This time.
