This is a great deal. The new 40th anniversary box set is such a missed opportunity. They could have included everything from the special edition CD set, but instead they just wanted to do holograms and charge a shit ton for it. Hopefully some day we'll see a complete set.

If I wanted to dive in to check out a couple of releases, what are 2-3 albums to start with?

Got my copy as well. DC sleeves are generally really nice (what with tip on and all), but this may be one of their nicest. All glass tip on, with glossy inners. Its a rainbow label like the art if anyone was wondering what the label color is. Cassette doesn't have the normal DC design and its a clay color. So pretty standard cassette.

Sometimes wrong labels get pressed into a record.

I only got my copy today, but DL'd a rip yesterday on AtEase. Its pretty good. I like the mix. It seems to be a balance of the PBvGR sound and more electronic elements. Something newer for him I think. Unfortunately none of the songs really stuck with me after 2 listens, but his stuff tens to be a grower. I think p4k gave it a fair score this morning.

They really need to get on some legit Stereolab reissues. The 1972 pressings are bullshit.
