  1. What if Bran sent the cutthroat to assassinate his younger self? He can already influence the past like what happened to Hodor. That prophecy is what made me certain that Jamie was gonna survive the battle. I thought Bronn was a goner. The moment he looked at the gold and didn't go after it made me think he was going to die for abandoning his survival instincts that kept him alive so far. Like the moment he does something out of honor is the moment it all ends for him. Honorable men have no place on this show.
  2. Yeah all of those Atom Age Industries releases weren't approved by the band. I think the FITO reissues might have been though. It's funny because now that they've commented on the reissues, they've now brought more attention to them. Some fans didn't even know about the Dork reissue until now.
  3. I think it just feels like its moving fast because there's not many storylines left to service. There aren't many characters left compared to prior seasons so the show is able to hit the major characters in multiple scenes each episode. Overall it still feels like each storyline is playing out at the same speed. I mean how many scenes of Jon were needed before he finally said he was only there for the dragonglass. Don't get me wrong, all of those scenes were great, but I kept wondering when he was going to mention it. On another note... The preview for next week's episode was so vague, so it must be a guarantee something big is about to go down.
  4. New EP (which is considered as an extension of the full album) is available on 7" at indie UK shops. Banquet has a few copies left: https://www.banquetrecords.com/sundara-karma/explore-ep/88985438917 I'm not sure where I read it, but there's a rumor(?) that an updated version of the album with these 3 new songs will be re-released on vinyl in the future.
  5. Or that. I've already spent ~$500 this year on those promos. It's my new go-to for all new releases now.
  6. This feels like one of those albums that I wait to pick up from someone here or on Reddit that's strapped for cash.
  7. Standard variant is $23. Much more reasonable. That $40 price tag for color vinyl is still ridiculous. It's not common at all.
  8. Yeah, sending everyone that PO'd the deluxe a free copy of the standard is pretty cool. I can't think of anyone else that would do that.
  9. I think they were trying to be funny, idk. Vinyl is also delayed another 2 months to 9/29.
  10. I believe all episodes were eligible for nomination. Honestly, it probably could've gotten more if Handmaids Tale didn't come along last minute and absolutely kill it. I think that show took some nominations from a few shows. Legion didn't get a nomination which feels like the bigger let down to me. It was the most inventive and original show of the last year imo. It was even looked over in the technical categories.
  11. Man, idk. All of those other nominations are well deserved (with the exception of House of Cards of course.) And even if I could replace the HOC nominations, I would replace them with Legion or The Americans first. It was just a good year for TV.
  12. Another importCDs sale on eBay: 15% off $60+ This sale has more titles than the one that ran in June. Any record they sell at <$30 normally is included.
  13. It's yellow. There are bundles up on the band's bandcamp also and its specified that it's yellow vinyl.
  14. Just announced 3rd album is up for pre-order. There is a special edition limited to 1000 on yellow: https://www.omnianmusicgroup.com/products/offering
  15. With the exception of Deadly Class, I have had such a hard time reading Remender's works. Seven to Eternity in particular confused the hell out of me. There was 1 issue in the first trade that I had to read a couple of times because I could not comprehend what actually happened by the end of the issue. Black Science can be hard to follow at times too, but I think it's my favorite work of his.
  16. I think it might be my favorite Alan Moore work behind Watchmen. Its not a typically comic as there are long passages at the end of each issue. The passages are written from the protagonist's point of view and are good at explaining some things you might've missed in the issue. Also, if you're gonna pick Providence up, then you also need to read Neonomicom first. Its technically a 4 book series with Neonomicon and the 3 Providence books.
  17. Anyone read Providence by Alan Moore? I spent hours today reading the first 2 hardcovers and then browsing online wikis. Every little detail is so well thought out and it's so easy to miss something. I have much respect and appreciation for this genius type of story telling.
  18. This right here. The math in this thread is killing me and making me want to correct this guy that only has 2 posts, both of which are nonsense. Firstly, the way the post is worded, downisthenewup87 is probably talking about the original recordings and not deviations (which is priced at $45) meaning they make around $35k/year. But if they were talking about deviations then they make around $62k/year. And neither numbers are near $87k/year. As a mathematician this is my only contribution to this thread other than stating how excited I am for the remaining reissues that most likely won't be available until 2018 at the earliest at this rate.
  19. This makes no sense. Why would you pay the Discogs' fees just to "drive up the market value"?? Then there's the risk of sitting on your new highly valued record for an undetermined amount of time until someone buys it. People like that are idiots.
