  1. I actually like the past two Cursive albums a bit but agree that his solo stuff is really good too. I’m not completely sold on this new song and am going to wait to hear the whole album before pulling the trigger. The song isn’t bad by any means but I dunno, not my favorite thing ever.
  2. Are the exclusives in Diamond considered a lot better or something? And anyone playing Elden Ring when it releases this week? Just tossed some extra RAM into my PC and am ready to go. I don’t think I have been this excited for a game since Persona 5 or Breath of the Wild.
  3. That whole thread baffles me. Band sounds like a bunch of 16 year olds messing around with effects on Garageband. I don’t think anything is more confusing to me currently.
  4. I’m thinking the same thing. I have an original of that album and like it, but am a way bigger fan of the later stuff anyway. Will maybe grab it if my tax return comes before it is released.
  5. Hmmm. Discogs reviews are pretty positive too. I might have to check it out. Huge huge Cure fan but my collection is seriously lacking.
  6. Two of my favorites too. Payday Loans is what got me into them. I get why it isn’t on there but wish Touched for the Very First Time was included on that side.
  7. Oh wow, that is really nice looking. Really hoping the Dirty Secret one comes out looking okay. I got that one but am still not too sold on the color combo.
  8. Out of all the record sleeves my cats could have had for dinner, they chose my expensive ass copy of Oxeneers to chew through. Hopefully I can have a copy one day that doesn’t look like it was used as a dartboard.
  9. Robert has been talking about a Wish deluxe reissue/remaster for years now but is doing his typical thing as of late where he announces things and never ends up actually coming through. I’m possibly mistaken but I swear the Wish remaster has been done for years according to him.
  10. Fucking Cure picture discs. At least Pornography is easy to find. Still annoyed about Bloodflowers only getting a picture disc a couple years ago.
  11. I’m not sure if you are familiar with Bluetile Lounge, but this band reminds me a bit more of them than the bands mentioned. I’m liking it more than I thought I would.
  12. This is pretty good. Going to have to dig in more and maybe pick the record up if it’s still around next month.
  13. Definitely grabbing that Cranberries record if it isn’t too expensive. I’ve been really wanting the first couple records lately but might wait it out to see if they get repressed so I’m not dropping $80+. Thinking about that Replacements one too.
  14. I’m wondering why they insinuated that those two shows in Seattle were belated final shows after they split and didn’t have a chance to play them in 2009 if they have plans to move forward as a band. Either way, hoping that isn’t true and they release new music and tour. Their inadvertent “final” show was an unceremonious tour stop at The Vera Project on October 17, 2009, and the set was cut short when a crucial piece of equipment died in a plume of black smoke and electrical sparks. The band paused to lick their wounds, and never managed to get back out into the wild. Almost 12 years later, These Arms Are Snakes return to the stage to put a more fitting cap on their whirlwind history. Is it a reunion? Not so much. Think of it more as an absurdly delayed final show.”
  15. The Carissa’s Wierd stuff is so baffling to me. They were around at record stores for $12 for the longest time. Edit: didn’t mean to write pretty much exactly what you did. But yeah, got them for cheap and then saw them around for years after that too.
  16. I'm really glad I was able to grab that one before prices went nuts a few years ago. It's good they did that Black Moon comp a couple years ago so people don't have to pay what it costs now. That Dweller On The Threshold tape is one of my white whales and the addition of it on there...
  17. Here's my Duster and related bands stuff, excluding Calm and Mohinder since my bed isn't that big. Also didn't feel like digging the Static Cult Label CDs and tapes out of whatever box I put them in when I moved. Never really went out of my way to "collect" anything, except when I bought that tri-color Stratosphere for no reason.
