weight has absolutely no bearing unless you've been brainwashed to think 180g records sound the best. some of my best sounding records are so flimsy they would bend in half if not held properly

comes to $6 for me, $8 for two records. not terrible, two dead to fall albums came to $34 shipped. pretty happy

the first version of horse with no name was omitted because while the band was on tour prior to the album release, the drummer's grandmother accidentally named the horse they wrote the song about. fearing it would be a false interpretation of the song's true meaning, it was pulled last second. it seems like you may have one of these copies, if so, it's worth a considerable amount of money and you should probably get it professionally appraised.

I love how the drummers always have the "why is there two of us doing this?" look every time they play great set so far

GKMC will go down as one of the most defining albums of our generation. there really isn't anything like it. it's one of the most honest and well-executed rap/hip-hop albums I've yet to hear in my life.

I guess I'm in the minority that thinks the splatter reissues sound fine. i have buddha, cheshire cat, dude ranch, enema, and bcr, all HT splatters with absolutely no issues

why? you got one and they are using the same plates for the reissue anyways, unless you paid resell on it from a third party idk

exactly what happened. the price on a specific batch of 50 records would not be worth it to a band or label to produce. soon we will start seeing people offload their black copies without covers and "without belly bands" to cash in on this. imho they are as overhyped as the show, maybe a little less. none of their stuff is worth forking out for and most of the people feeding into these resale prices don't even listen to the genre at all besides SURVIVE/ST
