sharkticon got a reaction from CaptainHerbalLife in OUT NOW: If These Trees Could Talk - The Bones Of A Dying World 2xLP | Metal Blade
In a continued effort to have the best "looking" record collections, you guys have simultaneously insulted both the band and the graphic designer behind the album. How much of your internet posturing and art critiquing is gonna matter when your 4 copies are sitting on your shelf, not being played, not even being looked at, while you're back on here in a few more months getting up in arms over some other release. Priorities, guys.
The new song sounds rad.

sharkticon got a reaction from Black Phillip in new tattoo appresh
UPDATE! Sat for 4 hours on Saturday. Nothing like having your ankle bone shaded for 2 hours...
Hopefully one more appointment will finish it up. Shooting to have it done around my birthday in a couple weeks.

I'll bump this thread again. Check out this sketch for my next piece. Greg Whitehead of Phoenix Tattoo Co. in Tempe, AZ is doing a week-long residency at Scapegoat Tattoo here in Portland. So I asked him to do a Russian Circles "Death Rides A Horse" piece for me.
Dude is unreal.

sharkticon got a reaction from _stretts in Post your own mockups for fun!
Okay, someone do this. And by do this I mean fucking press it. Die-cut cover and all. Coke bottle clear, transparent pink, black, I don't give a shit. Just get it on my turntable.

AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA. Every artist, designer, programmer, photographer and more hears this everytime they're approached for work by some cheapass who wants something but is told they have to pay for it. Then everyone expects free work. Designers and programmers and photographers have rent to pay and need food to eat and college loans to pay off.

The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
The LP is CD sourced though. No real benefit in having it over a cd or high quality download.

Consumer goods are not investments. They are meant for consumption. You can learn this in your first hour of any business class. Anything marketed as "limited" or "collectable" is already on it's way to being worthless. The real collectibles are the things nobody thinks to keep around in mint condition.
