I think deadformat.net offers the easiest way to list stuff. Discogs isn't complete and it's pretty easy to get barred from making entries if other people "vote down" on your submissions. This happened to me 2 years ago and I have been barred from submitting to discogs (maybe I could register a new account).

1988s are the cleanest. The 82 copies can vary in quality. I've had 2 1st presses (pink covers), 2 seconds (purple covers w/pink text) and one of each of the Italian pressings. They are all cut from the same father stamper. The sound has a lot more energy than the 88 represses. The 88 pressings are clear, but almost sterilized compared to the raw power of the 82 pressings. My first press sounds best.

Yup, the eBay and discogs are just adjusted for high seller fees and to give me breathing room to post them here. You can get the recent represses of End of The Century or the 90s "value" pressings sans lyric sheets of Ramones records for $8, but good luck with an original. I'd probably pay up o $50 for an original Pleasant Dreams in NM.

I hate VC. I really do. Someone new to vinyl comes along and asks a perfectly fine question and they get trampled on because you've figured out the answer years before. Instead of helping, you spend energy to make them feel bad. Coming here sucks. It's a reasonable question because in higher-end vinyl, like the Misfits stuff I collect, shrink can make a real difference in the price. To answer the question, I always remove shrink unless its a higher end record that I might resell.
