I sold the Andrew McMahon signed "Dear Jack" poster that came with the DVD, and donated 100% of the profits to charity. Only got $25 for it. Granted, because it came with the DVD, it's not all that rare, but I was kinda bummed that superfans didn't come out of the wordwork who were too lazy with the pre-order.

Unbelievably excited for this, been waiting for this to come out on vinyl since the album came out. Just ordered the swirl. Can't wait to give it a listen in January.

Got email from VC on 6/10 saying that it shipped, but I just tried the tracking number, and it said it left Denver on 6/21. Bummer. Does anyone know if any of the pre-orders come with a download card? I want to wait until I get my pre-order to listen to the album for the first time, but if it doesn't come with a DL, I guess I'll get a digital copy now.

Minus The Bear - OMNI (regular edition - black 180g)

They totally fucked up on this. I ordered the deluxe version right when the pre-order went up. Then I got an email saying my order was canceled for no apparent reason. No charge ever appeared on my credit card and when I emailed them (twice, no less) to ask what was up they never responded. So surprise, surprise when I check the mail today and there's an LP mailer from dangerbird. I was all "wtf?" and double checked my credit card statement. No charge ever went through and they still sent me the record. HAH! This never would have happened if Vinyl Collective would have pressed/sold this I wonder if they'll eventually figure it out and charge my credit card like they were supposed to in the first place... Didn't you get an email about why your original order was cancelled? I think everyone else got one... Anyways, I got my regular version in the mail today, and it sounds awesome. Kinda wishing I went with the deluxe version, that colored vinyl looks great.

Whenever I used to listen to this band, I'd wish I was listening to Set Your Goals instead, although I'm pleasantly surprised with the new album. It's grown on me quite a bit.

I'm definitely excited for a possible JEW Live 2xLP, along with Bon Iver / Peter Gabriel Split, and The Hold Steady LP. Let's hope I have a job by then.

Just got mine in the mail today. My Don't Let Her Pull You Down 7" is clear with a TINY bit of aqua in it. Unless you put it against the white slip-cover, you can barely tell. Also, I guess the last box of clear ones had tiny, almost invisible chips on the very outer edge, so they sent me a few $5 coupons to the online store.

New Found Glory Vinyl Bundle from Epitaph. There were tiny (almost invisible) chips on the very outside of both of the Don't Let Her Pull You Down 7"'s, so they sent me 2 $5 coupons to the Kings Road Merch sore in addition. Pretty cool of them.

I'm still new-ish to the vinyl thing, so it's possible there are things I'm missing, or that my descriptions aren't that great for your specific needs. Here are my impressions for what it's worth: Other Music - lots of Indie Rock stuff, fairly small used section, good CD selection too http://www.othermusic.com/ Bleecker Street Records - In my opinion, the best record store in NYC. They've got a huge selection of both new & used vinyl, and if you were to go to one store, this is a great one-stop-shop. I don't normally advocate these kinda things, but I found a random Rapidshare link last night after a quick google search. As far as I know, the only digital copies around are vinyl rips. As far as I know, the files aren't up for sale anywhere.

Does anyone have a link to download these digital files? In other news, I just placed an order for the NFG vinyl bundle from Kings Road, so if anyone is interested in my purple copy of the split, send me a PM.
