I just recently got my preorder copy also Actually it wasn't my preorder, tracking still says that one is in pennsylvania somewhere. But I was lucky enough to get a reply from someone at Reaper and finally got them to send me another copy. Frustrating, but I'm glad to finally have it.

Same here. Played the shit out of that game. Somehow I never played NV though. I think in my head I just assumed it wouldn't be as good as 3.My fallout introduction came years earlier though. My family didn't get a computer til I was in 9th grade, and then my friend gave me this CD that had bootlegs of Starcraft 1, GTA2, and Fallout 1 and 2. All of those games were fucking amazing and subsequently hooked me to each series.

My record store is out in Seaside, FL, cool little beach town. Took a trip out there early ran 3 miles then went to the shop.

Hell yea ship looks great! Love the colors. The same thing happened to me when I got mine, the artist convinced me to get it a lot larger than I had planned on. Pretty much told me go big or go home. Glad I am easily persuaded because I love it!

I see your point, but for me, it's the exact opposite. And I also attribute that to getting old. I have to drive about an hour to Pensacola for the closest punk/hardcore shows, and even then bands only roll through there every so often. So for me to see a show I really have to make a night out of it, cross my fingers that I don't have to work (or take the day off if it's really worth it), clear the rest of my schedule and cancel whatever my daily routine called for, then drive an hour to see a couple bands, get home late, then wake up early the next day and go to work. It's pretty hard for me to talk myself into doing that. TIHC announces the festival dates nearly a year in advance. I request that week off from work as early as possible, and plan around it. I take about a week off, go to one of my favorite cities, see a bunch of friends, watch a ton of my favorite bands over 4 days, and see a bunch of new bands. This year I even get to see a Misfits cover band! I always have a blast, and by the time the weekend is over, I'm pretty much good on shows until next year, save for the couple of shows that catch my eye throughout the year.

Congrats Dave! and thanks for the reminder Rob, I'll accept those challenges now. I'm still just dragging along since that half, only ran a few times and just short miles, but I'm lingering. We'll see what this summer entails! Unrelated - what kind of strength workouts do you guys combine with running? I'm not really a big gym guy, but want to do something that complements running. Anyone try crossfit? I figure a core based exercise like that might help, and being a runner my endurance is already pretty high so thought I might give it a shot. I'm open to suggestions!

Blacklisted and Cold World too. Kinda strange not having both of them, but I wouldn't say last year was far better. Top-bottom I think this year looks like one of the best. A couple perennials left out, but hardly any duds.

Am I the only VC'er going to this again this year? I hope AN, Bane, Suicide File, and Reach the Sky play back to back. That would be a great way to die

I watched Snowpiercer before any of the critical acclaim came about, strictly because I thought the two sentence description on IMDB made it sound cool, and I fucking loved it. I know sometimes hype can make or break a movie, but going in blind on that one worked out well for me. And like Ronnie said, that's just my opinion.
