Serious question here, lets say I file a paypal claim on my current order. And Re-order direct with a credit card. Do most major credit cards offer protections in this arena? Like could I dispute the charges with my credit card company if need be? Did some reading up. The short version of the story is that yes, I can with my credit card company and will likely be fine, UNLESS it is through a middleman like paypal, where my company generally flubs it and screws the consumer. So my takeaway is yes, file a paypal dispute while I still can, get my refund. Then re-order direct from the merchant, where I have true cardholder protections.

At that pricetag, and that cover art... hard pass! I will sure give the album a listen though.

I sure hope so. Because yeah it made me check em too. But also it would be a huge bummer If the rumor is true. It would also mean choosing that single was a really f'ed up bait and switch to drive pre orders.

In terms of rumor and speculation, I have seen a few people on reddit who claim to have spoken to members of the band. They say that band members said Ascendancy on vinyl was in the works as long as two years ago. Not sure what to make of it. As for the Shogun pressing, copies seem to be scarce already, at least for US Imports. I would recommend not sleeping on this one if your interested.

Dang, ditto on the variant collecting. These are all just super nice looking packages. Though as much as my brain wants it, my wallet cant swing it. So from that perspective I guess I should be glad the tour is skipping my city? Really like both DGD and VoM though (haters gana hate) . If someone IS attending a show, and would consider hooking me up with the tour exclusive, let me know!

I would assume they are honoring $30 orders, and merchnow should eat any lost revenue, it was their mistake. As for the new variant was not, good call. Looks pretty dope too if your askin me. x/1000 (cart reports about 230 remaining) Also means with all the additional and cool base variants, resale market on the deluxe will probably be limited.

With SmartPunk, if you have ANY TEXT in the "Business Name" field of your shipping address, the cost of shipping goes up substantially. Make sure to remove any text from there, or ship to a different address if possible. Also the mockup image looks weird, but I think this variant has lots of potential.

Ahh dang good point. Was stuck in a meeting and didnt get a chance at the Translucent green :'c. Also though, my new theory on the translucent black is it will just be standard black and Merchnow Copy and pasted the titles wrong. I suppose that makes sense, despite being just a gross business model. Also, what are the chances that the translucent black just looks standard black unless your holding it up to light. ha. Mockup is very unclear, but a like black/clear swirl would be pretty cool. Final thought, whats to stop me from swapping an acid green standard LP into my deluxe black? Hahah, it will be funny if the barcodes are the same for the different DLX variants.

Careful what you wish for, or you will just end up with 50 different variants for Cries from the Past. Though a DTGL or Chasing repress would be dope. Well, the short answer would be less than its obviously worth. But I think its overvalued if you consider that across three pressings its already had 5,300 copies in circulation (including the DTGL split) Long story short 60$ or less, otherwise I will wait for the inevitable repress. Also let me just say here and now, I am excited for what is obviously going to be a glorious trash fire of a thread. Ordering popcorn on amazon right now.

I am a huge THPS fan, but lets be honest...... The Need for Speed Underground 2 soundtrack is the real gold medalist here. Id buy that faster than I could blink.
