Have been doing a lot of soul searching with this one. I have ultimately decided to cancel my deluxe pre-order and put the money in an envelope under my bed. With the addition of one lucky nickel. I will then patiently save it till they re-release TOCS/DTGL -or- press that "play your old stuff" greatest hits thing they made. Making sure to rub the nickel every night for extra good luck of course.

Gave it a listen on youtube, sounds pretty good. But I drew a hard line in the sand and decided to never buy live albums.

Against all odds, my copy actually showed up. And was surprisingly well packaged. It also sounds good, looks good, and came with the poster as promised. (does have a tiny warp) That wont stop me from shitposting in this thread though. (Bandcamp copy eventually sent an update with "order cancelled" once my paypal dispute settled, copy I received is from the new store)

Can't speak for everyone but It was a let down for me. Nothing terrible but they just softened everything up, slowed down the tempo, and introduced a lot more radio friendly "heard it before" style stuff. My guess is most obnoxious people like me prefer the Horizons & Deep Blue erra. (though I thought Atlas was good too)

If anyone does pick up an ebay copy let me know what color it is. I would buy the red just because it looks neat. If its the white, id probably skip it even at 11$

Finally spun my copy today. Super impressed with it all around! One, its still a great album (imo). Two its super well packaged, heavy non-glossy gatefold sleeve looks fantastic. Three, the 4page art/leaflet insert thing is awesome. Four, the vinyl looks and sounds excellent, I would say better than MP3 even on my low end setup. If you want some pics, I uploaded the images to the discoggs release.

Just here to update.... Like a few others, I received a "shipping label created" notification today for my order from the NEW shopify store. My old bandcamp order is still in a pending paypal dispute, no updates or shipping notification for that copy.

Also ordered early September. Also have seen and heard nothing. Reached out via bandcamp and twitter last week. Filed the PayPal claim yesterday and had it "escalated" within 30m of submission. He has till next friday to make a rebuttal with paypal, though it sounds as though he lets these just time out.
