Thankfully I think that due to the sound of Pure Phase even if it was one of the worse GITD variants for background noise it shouldn't be too noticeable at all, and it large parts you'd not even be able to pick it out. Fingers crossed!

Spun my white copy this morning for the 1st time and had no issues with it at all unlike a few are reporting on discogs. Wondering what the next album will be in the series, will they do Fucked Up Inside live LP or go to the next studio LP Pure Phase. And will there be revised cover art for every release in the series? Maybe a full glow in the dark cover for Pure Phase as the original limited edition CD came in.

Well looking at the listings the cat number for this 2021 4lp is different to the one that was seemly pressed in 2017 but then shelved. My thinking was that the one pressed in 2017 would not have the original samples and be the same as the regular 2lp editions that were pressed at the same time, as why risk all that cost to press it with the original samples if you hadn't cleared it to actually release. And why use different versions for the 2lp & 4lp when producing them together.

Ultimately I don't think it will make the slightest difference given Discogs & Ebay have such a massive presence in the vinyl resale market already. All it will do it provide an extra avenue for some sellers to use. It still will depend on the knowledge of the individual to buy the rare item in the 1st place and have the product know how to be ahead of the curve to beat the actual fans to the drop which the casual seller will find hard, and there is no guarantee for them that just as something is limited its that desirable. Like others have said it will most likely be lots of UO stuff and items from Travis Scott/The Weeknd type artists (current;y seems to be 90% those exact ones at the moment) that are obvious easy targets but that anyone here would have picked up 1st thing anyway, so praying on the uniformed ultimately. I expect a healthy portion of The Weeknd Balloons 10th anniversary complainers were heading to sell there and got stung by the changes which happens a lot more in vinyl presses than the other items they cover. 1000 press can easily become 2000. The packaging and shipping of Vinyl is also a lot more of a hassle and risk than most items there as well.

Now i just hope they kept good care of the boxes while they sat in the warehouse for 4 years!
