As someone who’s been involved in something similar to this situation, you keep your mouth shut and don’t make yourself look like an ass publicly. No one really cares enough for them to have to explain themselves (did/do people really care when bands change labels?) and try and garner sympathy. JNR have been doing this long enough to know this. That’s it.

Also the label that kicked a band off the label, last year, after one member was outed and then kicked out of the band. They didn’t want any stigma at all, so they just dropped the band, even though the two other members were completely innocent. Seems like they wouldn’t want take on something as “hot button” as NOFX, right now, and especially Cokey. But again, those two haven’t worked together on something new in 20 years.

Exactly what I’m saying. But the main factor, Epitaph hasn’t put out a NOFX release, outside the box set and comp, in 20 years.

Also, HUGE fuckin difference when a band rolls through to pick up stuff, hang out, shoot the shot opposed to some rando who wants to come in and pick up a package from you every two weeks.
