  1. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/trenches-reckoner-2013/x/1034412 Trenches has put a pre-order up for their next album on an IndieGoGo campaign. $30ppd. I'm stoked, already pre-ordered.
  2. Looking for a clean copy of Handsome's self-titled LP. Not picky on the variant. I might prefer an SRC copy with the bonus 7", but if you have the 6131 pressing and want to move it, hit me up! I know I can look around on Discogs and eBay. Wanted to come to the boards first.
  3. Hey! I'm looking for copies of any of these records in VG+/VG+ condition and above (looking for nice playing copies, no seam splits etc). I live in New Zealand, so would have to be willing to ship here, and that means it would be real great to get multiple from the same person if possible, but will consider anything Also the list below are a bunch of the ones I'm looking for that are expensive enough to make it worth the postage - if you have other similar style stuff I will likely be interested if I don't have it, and could make the postage more worth it if I grabbed anything else too! The Crownhate Ruin - Until the Eagle Grins Groundwork - Today We Will Not Be Invisible Nor Silent All Else Failed - Archetype Kiss It Goodbye - She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not Kerosene 454 - Situation At Hand Kerosene 454 - Came By To Kill Me Kerosene 454 - At Zero Leer - Spring Break No Parents Engine Down - Demure Engine Down - To Bury Within The Sound Engine Down - Engine Down Four Hundred Years - Transmit Failure Four Hundred Years - Suture Reversal of Man - Revolution Summer Comadre - The Youth Shotmaker - Mouse Ear Mihai Edrisch - L'Un Sans L'Autre Killsadie - Experiments In Expectation The Assistant - The Assistant Capdown - Civil Disobedients Karate - In Place Of Real Insight
  4. Starting a new thread in which each week I'll focus on disbanding part of my collection by focusing on one artist per week. If you're interested in making offers on other records see my full collection here: https://www.discogs.com/user/zacooper/collection?sort_by=artists_sort If you don't like the set prices feel free to make an offer. Will do discounts for larger orders (4+ records). Shipping in US will be media mail starting at $5 per LP + $2 for each additional. If only ordering 7" then it is $3.50 per 7" + $1 for each additional. I have plenty of mailers lying around and will package with care. International: Honestly it just isn't worth my time to ship international so I won't be doing it this time around. If you're international and looking to buy more than 5 LPs though then hit me up and we'll see if we can work something out. 6. Post-rock/screamo/post-hardcore fans! This one is for you guys! You can listen to the tracks at the link below: http://modern-vinyl.com/2017/03/03/exclusive-spin-arrowheadforever-losing-sleep-split/ Ambient noise can either be a counterpoint to monstrosity, or a complement. In the case of Boston’s Arrowhead and New Jersey’s Forever Losing Sleep, the midpoint lies in an overarching appreciation for melodic, far-reaching post-rock. On this 12″ vinyl split, Arrowhead uses the cinematic sprawl of their opening guitars, negating them minutes later on their contribution “Thousand Palms, Sung and Reposed” with scorching post-hardcore intensity. On the flip side, Forever Losing Sleep’s “Woken By the Sun” takes a lighter approach to genre fusion, where vocals float over instruments that peak and plummet alongside a frenetic emotional barometer. There’s a lot to unpack here — two songs total over 16 minutes — and plenty to return for, which is a testament’s to each band’s brand of grandiose, embattled songwriting. Pre-orders found here: http://lifeisafunnything.bigcartel.com/product/arrowhead-forever-losing-sleep-split-12-funnything36 lifeisafunnything is more than proud to present you this breathtaking split record! Two bands, two songs and a running time of 17 minutes full of intense emotions, desperate outbursts and fulgent melodies! ARROWHEAD from Boston and FOREVER LOSING SLEEP from New Jersey, both deliver their best effort so far by leaving musical borders behind and creating a 17 minute long trip through darkness and light on this onesided record! If you really need comparisons: If ever The Saddest Landscape decides to team up with Envy, then this might come close to how ARROWHEAD sounds. And well, FOREVER LOSING SLEEP, how to describe them? Dredg comes to mind, Explosions in the Sky too, a lot of early 2k emo/screamo-bands, without sounding really like one of them. It is jus great music! And the biggest surprise is, how this dark, deep song by ARROWHEAD and this bright and epic track by FOREVER LOSING SLEEP together form such a coherent and beautiful piece of art! 200 onesided records are made. Each copy comes with a downloadcode and a lyricsheet. Pressing info: 100 clear yellow w/ black smoke 100 clear turqoise w/ white smoke

  9. OK, it's been a busy Summer and going to be a busy Fall. Sorry if a little bt of this popped up in other threads. First up: The BLEAK lp is out. It's super heavy, like Turmoil meets Disembodied with some Eyehategod thrown in. You can listen to it here: http://hexrecords.bandcamp.com/album/we-deserve-our-failures You can order the LP here (still some green and blue vinyl left): http://hexrecords.bigcartel.com/product/bleak-we-deserve-our-failures-lp Syracuse's DIALYSIS have a new 7" coming out within the next two weeks. This is being co-released with Exploding In Sound. Forward-thinking hardcore three-piece makes things real fast and thrashy, but also gives nods to Fugazi, Mission Of Burma, and the Minutemen in their sound. 13. Big Dick - Disappointment LP "out" Feb 24th, but since I already have the records I've decided to go ahead and post it on the website. Big Dick return with their second LP! The band is due featuring drums, bass, and dueling vocals from Ottawa, Canada. Named after a NOMEANSNO song, Big Dick has cultivated a sound that borders on progressive punk and post-hardcore, while also gravitating towards both the melodic and absurdly heavy. This is a band equally at ease with their penchant for 90's ear Canadian indie rock as they are with the punk, hardcore, and noise rock bands of the last three decades - the result being a memorable listening experience that breaks down traditional sub-genre party lines. Dissapointment serves as an anthemic celebration of failure and inquietute for fans of Death from Above, Japandroids, and more Stream: punknews Order (limited to 100 on blue vinyl): dirtcultrecords
  14. Okay, so I managed to score two copies of Thursday's Waiting: one clear and one grey. Does anyone have some clear information on this album? Deadformat and Discogs seem to give conflicting info. Deadformat says that clear and white were the first pressings in 2009, with 500 copies each. The second pressing, an unknown quantity of grey marble, was released in 2010. Discogs says that the grey pressing was released in 1999 with the catalog number EYE120015. Under the decription of the white pressing, it says, "Vinyl reissue of the 1998 album. Pressed on both clear or white vinyl," and has a release date of 2009 and a catalog number EYE120015. The clear pressing has no year and a catalog number of EB015. Both my records have the EYE number. The record label is now defunct, so I don't think I can reach them for some info. If anyone can fill in the gaps, it would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Finally, the new debut LP of BLACK LOVE is out now in Europe! 17. Help me complete my Underoath Collection. I have ALL their releases but I am missing this variant of Disambiguation. Would love to get it to say I have a complete collection, at least in my eyes ha. Would love to get this in the 20-35ppd range please. PM me or post if you are willing to sell/trade me your copy. *update* would love a test press of any of their albums. I missed out on the 10" test presses of Lost in the Sound earlier this month because I forgot when the listing ended. I am referring to the Tooth and Nail charity auction on eBay. Take a look at my tradelist, let me know if anything can be done
  18. Well, it's about that time again. PM me with offers and we'll work out a price that benefits both of us. Sorry, no international shipping at the moment. Also, I prefer selling to people with a bit of feedback so I know I can trust them; sorry, new board members, it's not you, it's me. I'll stop selling at the beginning of August, or when I run out of LP mailers, whichever comes first. Feel free to take a look at my tradelist as well. Generally speaking, if I don't have it listed here, I probably won't sell it, but if the price is right, anything could happen. Anyway, here's the list: Boys Night Out - Trainwreck (2xLP, black/yellow swirl, /1000) PENDING The Chariot - One Wing (pink/white marbled, /500) Defeater - Empty Days & Sleepless Nights (5th press, 2xLP, copper coin, /1000) The Fall of Troy - Phantom on the Horizon EP (clear, /1000) Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree (2nd press, 2xLP, maroon swirl, /1500) PENDING La Dispute - Rooms of the House (blue, /1000) Like Moths To Flames - When We Don't Exist (blue marble, /500) Pissed Jeans - Honeys (Loser Edition + 7", transparent orange, /1250)
  19. Behold, CRACKED VESSEL - The Wayward Path: Live on WHPK CS has finally been loosed upon the world. Listen to it here: http://hipkidrecords.bandcamp.com Buy it here: http://hipkidrecords.storenvy.com Recorded live on the radio, this is a full set by Chicago's mighty CRACKED VESSEL. They play a unique brand of black metal by way of post-hardcore/punk that is totally unique. This recording sees the band at their most raw, stripped down to only the key basic elements of their sound and is indicative of what an excellent live band CRACKED VESSEL truly is. If you want a copy, act now. The band has a grip of them and there are only 25, so I don't expect them to last long. This is HKR-016.
  20. I'm pretty low on funds, what with rent/bills getting paid, a minuscule paycheck from this past pay period, and me not keeping very good track of my leisure spending for the first week or so of the month. So, here's a relatively short list of stuff you could buy from me, to help me put some much-wanted cashola back in my bone-dry college kid bank account! I only have three or four 7"/LP mailers on my person, so once I'm out of each kind, the sale is done! A few things to note: 1) I prefer to do business with established board members, because I know I can trust them; newer members can send offers if they have some good feedback here or on eBay. 2) U.S. buyers only, please! 3) Be reasonable with your offers, and don’t send me messages that just say “how much for [album]?” because I won’t respond to those. 4) Because it's MLK weekend, these will not get shipped until Tuesday, possibly Wednesday. Also, I'm out of town until Monday evening, so questions about the condition of a certain record can't be answered until then. 7" Records Japandroids – Younger Us (clear vinyl, /2000) SOLD King Tuff – Screaming Skull (black vinyl) Now, Now/The Lonely Forest – Shifting/Woe Is Me (RSD 2012, black vinyl, /500) Phoenix – Entertainment (RSD 2013, gray marble vinyl, /3000) The Wonder Years – Won’t Be Pathetic Forever (4th press, HT Exclusive, pink vinyl, /500) 12" Records A Skylit Drive – Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (clear vinyl, /350) SOLD Boys Night Out – Trainwreck (2xLP, black/yellow swirl vinyl, /1000) SOLD The Bronx/Mariachi El Bronx – Live (RSD 2012, clear w/ multi splatter, /1000) Crystal Castles – Crystal Castles III (black vinyl) King Tuff – King Tuff (black vinyl) Pianos Become The Teeth – The Lack Long After (5th press, grey marble vinyl, /1000) Sharks – No Gods (dark blue w/ red haze, /600) Silverstein – Arrivals & Departures (baby blue vinyl, /900) V/A– Django Unchained OST (Italian bootleg, 180g black vinyl w/ slipmat, 466/500) Wavves – Afraid of Heights (pre-order exclusive, white w/red+black splatter, /500) SOLD Yeasayer – Fragrant World (2xLP, 180g white w/ blue splatter) Finally, If you see something on my tradelist that interests you, feel free to make an offer on it! I'll probably say something like “thanks, but it’s not for sale,” but you never know unless you try, right? Thanks for looking!
  21. Hey, guys! My friend Sasha is the drummer/artist for his band Nurture, a new-ish post-hardcore band from Athens, GA. They released their debut EP a while back, and a new label is pressing it onto vinyl for the world to enjoy. I figure there are enough post-hardcore fans on VC to make this something worth posting about. 300 pieces will be pressed, 100 dark grey (I'm assuming it's a grey marble, but I don't know for sure), and 200 black. They're $8, and will be sent out in May. Here's the link to the pre-order page: http://pizzatomb.storenvy.com/products/1352277-nurture-in-the-middle-of-everything-10-preorder ...as well as a link to the EP (which is only $3 as a digital copy): http://nurture.bandcamp.com/ Thanks much for checking 'em out if it sounds like something you'd dig!
  22. This is an ongoing project. I am looking for the following records, if you can assist me with my endeavors I would appreciate your vast efforts. If the album has a strikethrough, I have successfully found the record and will remove it from the list periodically. If you are a constant seller, feel free to follow this topic as I update it weekly: » 12" None "Desire is what we feel when we want something and do not have it."
  23. Anybody selling any Bear vs. Shark records? Any variant of Terrorhawk or Right Now You're In The Best Of Hands? I'm all ears with money in hand. Already bought the available variants from the Friction Records website.
  24. Does anyone know the pressing information on this? No, it's not out of 500. I tried messaging Geffen Records, but no response, ever. Pressing: 1st / Black / out of ? | Cat # B0002818-01
