Even at the height of bandcamp save our band Friday you couldn’t get me to give a shit about a remix album. Its always been so delusional to imagine a band thinking “these songs… with beats! That’s what our fans want!!!”

I was selling records at a local record sale this summer and a guy I hate was trying to clown me for selling Ryan records ($20 for 2LPs, not like $300 for a Burzum LP) I went and looked at the guys Instagram later that night and he was happily posting about being at a show of a disgraced local creep who had been called out for engaging in a nearly identical list of gross behavior that Ryan did. Just wanted to contribute to a legendary thread here 👍

Yeah it looks like the old version is scrapped from Spotify even tho the new version was uploaded in the 2021 single spot and the 2023 spot. I just played the two on bandcamp back to back and there’s definitely a different vocal take!

Sam said on a podcast that they had remixed or re-recorded a bunch of the songs on the new LP. Forgot what exactly what it was, but he said Epitaph gave them enough time that they had reworked a lot of the songs they recorded on this LP.

IMO there should probably be more dedicated PO threads for records. I can imagine there's a lot of people missing out on some crucial pre-orders like this one because Gel and your local beatdown bands are both being posted in the same thread, so there's no urgency to check this thread lol.
