Yeah, I am a tiny bit nervous here. Ultimately, I decided to pre-order because at this point, I don't think there's much that Arctic Monkeys could do to alienate me. TBHC was as abrupt of a sea change as I could endure and in truth, I ended up loving it after I got over my mourning period of it not being AM2. I'm all in on the Monkeys and I hope they didn't hold back the lead single because it stinks.

I went with the Custard. Huge fan, and the import was about $42 including upgraded shipping.

I've got the 2015 Jade Tree black pressing. Haven't read if there is a re-mix or remaster for this, so I'm not sure if I'm getting one. The Jade Tree variant looks nice though.

If you're referring to the fact that inner grooves have lesser quality, I don't know if this is generally a pressing issue or a turntable issue. I can say that I used to notice this from time to time when I had a lower quality turntable, but since I've gotten a nice model, I never hear any sizzle or sibilance on the inside tracks.

I streamed the album 3-4 times when it accidentally dropped on Apple Music and it's damn good. Still, this is a hard sell for me. I know they are self-releasing, but $30 + shipping and arriving Summer 2023 is just tough...

Spoke to someone very close to the band and this is pretty much what they hinted at. The good news is that Epitaph pumps out vinyl, so maybe it won't be a year wait...

I did, and it's the same. It sounds like they transferred CD audio to the vinyl.

I read somewhere that CD sales are way up since the vinyl shortage. Also, this band is pretty great and poised to pounce.
