i always wonder how people can have the gall to plead with strangers (or even worse; their friends) to fund their hobby/purchases because they can't afford it or aren't willing to give up things and save money on their own.

I wouldn't normally do this but as the title says, my guitar was stolen and it meant a lot to me. I just moved and am barely scraping by. I don't expect this to work but if it does i'll be very happy. If it goes through i'll even write a song about VC. please help and spread the word.

At least I'm not getting over 10k to make potato salad. I work as much as I can, but I go to school full time and can pretty much cover rent, food, Internet and bills. This is more of an act of desperation than it is entitlement. Playing shows with my friends at shitty dive bars every other weekend is pretty much the only thing I get to do right now where I can relax and have fun.

Shit sucks, but do what everyone else does: work and buy a new one.

We had it mastered for vinyl and lacquers created at Metropolis Studios by Grammy Award Winner Tim Young (The Clash, Queen, The Beach Boys, Beatles). It will be released as a double LP with 500 copies on 180 Gram Red (SRC Exclusive)  as well as 180 Gram black vinyl. Pre orders go live this Friday at 1 PM EST:

Ross sells his own releases on eBay. Flips them to people on this board. Presses extra copies of records that aren't listed or approved. Has typos/mistakes on almost all his releases. Doesn't care about the bands he releases from. He gets his best friend to come on the board and lie to everyone. Then that same friend (who is also his business partner and one of the main contributors to the Doug 7") tells someone "I will be sure to give you a rag to wipe off my cum after you are under my desk choking on my dick."
 
That's not elitism. It's common sense that I won't give my money to someone like that. Especially for a compilation album of one-to-two minute songs that most people will never listen to.

So I am not sure how many people this will reverberate with, but what are you musical loves that other people just don't get, or poke fun at you about?
Keep in mind I have a lot of friends that are really monochrome when it comes to music metal, punk, or generally what they think is cool. I am sure people will not see anything wrong with some, or all of my list, but I have taken flack over all these.
