This thread made me pull out the "Perspectives" lp for the first time in years. What an awesome record - that baby blue marble color was something I'd completely forgot about. Louisville was one of the best mid-1990s hardcore scenes around (if not the best). Back into rotation this album goes.

Is this the same band that was on Victory? Haven't heard them mentioned in forever.

I wouldn't say great. The only 2 real stellar stores are Vintage Vinyl and PRex. I've been to a couple other small ones in SoJerz, but their new vinyl prices were through the roof. NorthJerz all there is is really Scotti's. They are meh all around (and they even closed some 3-4 of their stores). If you're willing to travel, there are a couple good options, but I could use a few more local stores with decent stock. Did Curmudgeon close? In Red Bank we have Jack's but it is a terrible vinyl spot. Asbury Park has a shop specializing in Punk - I forget the name but it is shared with a vintage clothing shop and very much worth a stop if you are in the area. After that it's all Vintage Vinyl and I can't do that drive too often anymore. Who remembers the 2nd Vintage location in Ocean Township? Let's say that they closed after certain employees from certain NJ HC bands stole too much inventory to fund things. I was a sad kid when that went out of business.

What is really missing from this bill is a Culture reunion.

Sorry to hear it. They set it right with my order over a month ago. Again, they said a whole shipment was lost in the postal service system (there are some awesome records out there somewhere). I'd press the issue politely with them. I know they were getting some really shitty emails in there. Again, they couldn't have been any easier for me to deal with. I hope this turns around for you. Did you contact them directly? I had a PO of MDAM lps that never arrived. Apparently there was a batch lost in the mail essentially as I wasn't the only person. Kevin at P&P was very helpful and replace the records (both were at that time OOP so it must have come from their archive). I'd simply check in with them if it has to do with MDAM. Good Luck.

I had a realtor over Saturday as we are getting ready to stage my house to sell. Her big sticking point: 15 milk crates of LPs - she says they have to go to storage or be moved to someone else's house. One person's eyesore is another person's lifeblood. I'm going to have to reduce to two crates until the house is sold. The lesson: invest in some nice shelving.

I saw 311 in 1995 in Gainesville. Some asshole puked all over the dance floor, then another person did. It was everywhere.Then all the fuckers were dancing in it, falling in it, some even flicking it at their friends. I had to leave so that I didn't add to the mess myself. I couldn't look seriously at 311 again since this was the audience I associated with them. Happy 311 Day though.

I just opted to go to Tax Court instead of call the IRS 800 number ever again. How the hell can you apply the same standard of shitty telemarketing quality customer service from Bullshit-Corp USA to the Federal Government? I imagine fewer mistakes might be made if American Citizens aren't treated like nameless customers by a rep reading off a script they are barely qualified to read. I'm so damn bitter. I'm so tired of dealing with people that can't answer any questions and just assume you'll accept it.

Just got the new Windmills in the mail. The Windmill vinyl is pretty cool.

My Path of Resistance Record isn't warped...just my feeling of self worth for owning it.

I just got a shipping notice on this. I forgot I ordered it and am now wondering why I did in the first place. Seemed like a great idea the day the PO went up. I have a white vinyl 2-pack coming and anyone interested can shoot me a PM to work a trade.
