Didn't realize this. Was between buying and not. I'll pass. Just not interested in clothes I'm probably gonna wear 2 times a year.

Not electric razor related, but I was looking for a cheap alternative to expensive Gillette cartridges and started investigating the Dollar Shave Club. Thanks to Lifehacker, I was able to find their supplier and realized it was even more cheaper to buy from them directly. I got a years worth of blades for $7. The razors are good enough, except I went with the 3-blade cartridges and got a couple knicks at first until I got the hang of them. I'll shed some blood to save a couple bones.

    Tittus,
I feel pretty strongly that the mean jeans had the album of the year. Gaslight, bottlerocket, and souls never disappoint me.
Matt and Kim was more of a "good album I listened to a lot" than a "great album you have to hear". My favorite song was "I said", so maybe you want to YouTube it and judge based on that.
As I'm writing I'm thinking of other albums that could easily bump Matt and Kim. Hot water music could. I think "paid in full" is the most rocking song they've ever put out. The world inferno friendship society record got a lot of plays ("politics of passing out" was probably my favorite individual song from last year). Cute Lepers was really good too (this year, right?).
So hopefully out of all those you get something new.

Like I said, I like to leave stubble and not shave down all the way down (no razor burn or acne). This pic shows what I am talking about.

Yours doesn't seem to have that. I personally would buy one without that part but your call. It's not like I have tried hundreds of electric razors, though. Maybe yours is great.
Anyone ever oil theirs? I remember to do it about once a year. Maybe that is part of my problem.

Part of what goes through a shopper's mind is that they are unsure if they are making the correct purchase (price, quality, etc...). The convienent thing about Black Friday is that you KNOW you are getting a good deal on just about everything you buy. So it takes the thinking out of it and people value that.

You might wanna check the black friday thread / ads. I could get a brand new one for $300 ($400 with a $100 gift card). Might spend a little more than on a used one but hey, it's brand new and you can be assured it will work properly.

Hmmm, interesting. But I'm not sure how the TV would be different from the projector in your scenario. With your logic I believe the problem would lie somewhere in between the HDMI cable and the TV, or the PS3's graphic's processor and the HDMI. The connection is the same, so I'm not sure why it's better. But it's good that you found something that works great for you. I'm not a huge gamer myself, especially sports games, but most all the gaming I do on my PC. I played uncharted and god of war a lot on a 120Hz Samsung and lag never really was a problem for me, but as you mention it's probably not as noticeable as with other games. I will also, however, rip shit up over anyone in Ken Griffy Jr's MLB for N64. Complete domination.
Anyway, do you know if your TV was a C (2010 model) or a D (2011) series? Either way, the early 120Hz "D" series LCDs, as well as new TVs, have a "game mode" built in to the advanced video settings that's supposed to enhance the image of 3D gaming content. Not exactly sure how, think it has something to do with frame interpolation, or something. Did you have it turned on? I'm sure you probably played with the settings, I'd have to look into it further
EDIT: found what seems like a well-educated guess on an A/V forum:
"When your TV is running at 100hz, it is taking a 50hz signal, and then interpolating frames in between to make it 100 and appear to run smoother. This processing takes some time for the on-board computer to accomplish, so there is a small delay from when the signal is sent to your TV from the source, and when the picture is actually displayed on the screen.
This delay is called "input lag". When you play video games, all this processing will add the same kind of delay, so what you see on the screen lags behind what is actually happening on your PC or console. Your mouse and controller movements will lag behind your actual input also. If you play fast paced games, this can make you a lot more likely to die
Game Mode turns off all the extra processing, and runs the TV at the native 50 or 60 hz, and reduces the input lag to allow for a better experience while playing fast paced games."
If you had a "C" series, then I think you didn't have this feature, which sucks. Sorry also to everyone who's interested in black friday and not all this nerdom. Back to it!

Also kind of interested in a gas grill. I think I might run a hard pipe in my backyard and use natural gas rather than dealing with propane tanks. Don't want to end up like this guy...

I am in my last year of my PhD in Industrial Engineering. I am funded through this program:
    http://smart.asee.org/
It is awesome. I make 40k a year + tuition + health insurance as a student, and because of my situation I pay under 10% taxes. Work when I want and from home. Just expected to graduate, that's it.
The catch is that when I graduate, I am locked into 2 years working at a local army base (we do all the engineering for land based vehicles like tanks and humvees). The government work pays a little less than industry but I should be over $65k when I start (in industry I would start at jobs in the $75k plus range).
Dissertation probably gonna be about 150-200 pages (engineering dissertations are typically shorter than say history or english. More math, less prose). I really need to start being more diligent about it. But overall, ZERO regrets about going back to school.
Edit: Plus civilian Army Engineers have the option to work 9 hour days and take every other Friday off. Pretty nice perk to make up for the lower pay.

My opinion (not that I am a computer blogger or anything) -- People buy Macs for the brand image, the user interface, and the security against virus infection. I doubt there are very many software core functions that aren't available in both.

Atlanta has been the 3rd stingiest team to opposing WR so far this year.
And Pierre Thomas is definitely more interesting with Sproles out a long time but it's not like Sproles was taking many carries from him. I doubt all those catches go to Thomas.
Denver has a very good pass rush and Benjarvis is a bruiser. Should get a good workload.
So that is the long way of saying, you have it right.

There are 3000 of these. So don't buy into that stores hype that it is "extremely limited". There will be plenty of these around, probably at your local store on RSD.

This would be a powerful tool that would bring a lot of new traffic to the site.
It really requires very strict standardization of the tradeslists (even more so than what I saw). Just played around with it for the first time and I saw different entries for Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim on "clear" and "Clear". Plus you don't want some people calling "orange" "gold" and stuff. Good luck doing anything with Against Me! - Reinventing Axl Rose.
Ever single option needs to be standardized (ie, chosen from a dropdown or for something like band name, you type the first 4 letters and then the full name shows up). Not sure how this info is being obtained right now. But if you can balance having rigid standardization but still having the ability to easily grow the database as new records come out and old records are entered for the first time, you have essentially made the text/spreadsheet based tradeslist systems obsolete.

No opinion of this team (haven't watched a single game), but Mike, how many games do you think they would win on average per season if they played 1 million seasons? If they are "truly" a 4 - 12 team and just lucked into a 4 - 1 record to start, the odds of this are (1/4)^4 X (3/4)^1 X 5 = 1.4%. The probability a "true" 4 win team starts 5 - 0 on luck is about .1%.
So a 1.5% chance that the team has 4 or more wins at this point (assuming the 4 wins number. I had to use something). It's getting to the point where you can't dismiss them as a statistical deviation, but 1 in 100 isn't THAT big of a longshot.
