you sure about that? seems the custom dust sleeve may be unique to that version since the sub pop listing doesn't mention it at all.

listened to the track. it wasn't as bad as I feared, but it also didn't hit me the way any song on the tape did. it also sounded eerily close to a pity sex track, but when pity sex cleaned up their sound a bunch. will give it some more listens and see if it burrows in my head like orion or heavenly did on uneasy.

wish they would release the first tape on vinyl. also, that description of the change in sound scares me. will check this out though.

I think their point was that there aren't really very many good albums being offered. I know for me, I already own the 2 or 3 albums there I would ever want.

it just seemed odd to me to say less than $5 when it didn't cost less than $5. you pay what you pay. shipping is still part of the cost.
