  1. Yeah, now I feel like even more of a derp for buying the pink "test press". Fool me once...
  2. +1 Thanks man. I may need a new Expedit with all of the damn versions of these records that I now own.
  3. Picked up Empros by Russian Circles for under 15 with shipping. Not a steal, but definitely a deal.
  4. Well now they have over 30 songs. so they could have a 30 min show Yeah, when I saw them at Gilman they played their set twice. NO ONE was complaining though and we all went even more apeshit the second time around. Then some fat guy stagedived on my wife.
  5. Thanks for the info. So stoked about this. Yeah, some folks are treating these like they're made out of pure gold. Now that Sheath is repressing it, all of us who missed these records can get them for a reasonable price.
  6. I guess they must have pressed more than originally stated. That's good news. More people should own this record.
  7. Agreed, completely underrated. It's difficult to describe them to people. There was a little Echo and the Bunnymen on New Parade, but mostly loud/soft dynamics with melodic, soaring vocals. Great record and beautiful packaging. I think the vinyl is limited to 150-200? I believe most of these went to kickstarter people, so the remainders might not be around that long.
  8. That's a great deal. Hope you remember to hit this tomorrow...
  9. It took over a month to get an order from them. I will pass on this.
  10. This was my kickstarter pain-in-the-ass-took -forever-even-worse-than-face-to-face deal. I finally got my reward of 180 gram vinyl of their new record with a limited t-shirt. The artwork is done by Aaron's cousin, from Portugal. The Man. It's die cut and the bottom red part slides off. Overall a solid record for any Sheila Divine fans. http://the-things-that-once-were.com/ .
  11. Got my red today. If I listen to it expecting old Ceremony it is disappointing. If I listen and just ask myself if I like this band, the answer is yes. There are bits of Rohnert Park, but it sounds more like Ceremony mixed with The Soft Pack with a little Gun Club and of course the Joan Jett riff rip off in Hysteria. I think more of a grower than a show'er.
  12. I'd definitely be down for a trade or payment plus for the tour copy. Just pm me. I am going to some cool shows soon that will have tour copies. Let me know.
  13. Wow, I will take all of those lps that are not "necessarily rare". There is probably so much crazy stuff in there and most likely many that are very rare.
  14. I don't know if you can still stream it, but "The Good, the Bad, and the Weird" is a great Korean western. The new version of True Grit is a Coen Bros classic. Also the Supernatural series if you're into X-Files with monsters and such.
  15. At this point there will not be a tour exclusive pressing. I am bummed, but my wallet is happy.
  16. I think i know what you mean, but would still love to see a pic of this. I don't have the camera skills to really capture the detail of the edge. It's like the edge of some old Blue Note jazz records where the edge doesn't taper like most. It's not a big deal, but it's not very common which makes it cool for dorks like me.
  17. I got my record. Didn't order a bundle, but ordered the blue pretty early and did not get a tape. I've been listening to this for a while now from a download and was only marginally impressed. I was thinking of selling it when I got it, but spun it, kicked back and read the lyric sheet, and now definitely keeping it. I also like the flat edge of the record. Just a small aesthetic detail, but cool.
  18. I got my greyish purple and my test today. I have to say, this is a really good album. If you're even remotely impressed by the stream you will really like it on your turntable.
  19. I just will not buy anything again from popmarket after they left out part of my Tom Waits bundle. It was only a cd, but it was still advertised as part of the bundle. I write them every couple weeks and they give me the same bs answer, that it is in the process and they have "escalated" the case. F*#* poopmarket.
  20. Ordered, of course. That cover is just classic! I wonder if the grey will be a shirtkiller thing. On a side note, I was wearing my Black God shirt when I went to my local grocery store and lots of folks were staring at me in a funny way. I do live in Oakland though.
  21. I'm out of the loop, is Bruce back with the band? Never got to see Maiden.
  22. I wonder if this guy is mentally challenged. I mean it's obvious he is in one form or the other, but he really may be clinically mentally disabled. A real retard and not in the fun Reatard way. A sad day for the human race.
  23. I would second asking for a full refund and then buying one that isn't scratched. File the paypal claim sooner than later. This exact same thing happened to me. I bought a tour release which came with a different cover. The vinyl color was more common. Guy claimed he didn't know it was scratched. I waited too long and the claim window closed. At least he was decent and sent me another regular copy, though the wrong color. I ended up having to buy another copy of the right color. Now, I have three copies with one being scratched.
