  1. It took me many many tries to get the apple music to sync correctly. My biggest recommendation is to only add a little at a time. If you do what I did and drag the whole library in it fucks everything up. I had to manually remove all the uploads from my library on my phone album by album before I learned my lesson. I literally wasted three months getting it to work properly. Even after I figured out how to do it properly it wasn't until I got to the letter D that I learned there is a cap of 100K songs in your library... I'm sure that cap will lift some day (maybe by now), but I'm slowly going back through and weeding out the low priority shit.

  2. When we saw them, Korn, Rammstein, Ice Cube, and Orgy at the 98 Family Values date in Detroit we got there VERY early (a three hour plus drive was not something we wanted to leave up to chance driving through what can be unpredictable constriction all the way across the state). Fred was messing around on a scooter in the lot pre-show and people were just hanging out shooting the shit with him. Some girl was trying to hang on him with electrical tape on her nipples, but he wasn't giving her the attention she was after so she sulked away. Some kid asked him to sign his ticket "Fred Is God" and he said "can I sign it "Fred's a Fag?". Not exactly PC, but I came away from the whole experience thinking he was a pretty cool down to earth dude despite how huge they were at the time. I don't think I ever bothered much with anything post-Significant Other, but that was such a fun night despite the fact that my tastes couldn't be more different now. Wish we'd have gotten one of the Incubus dates later in the tour, but at least I got to see them before it all went to shit with SOAD and Mr. Bungle a couple years later.

  3. If I had the time and effort (and mounting supplies) I'd mount four copies of the Rushmore Soundtrack. There are only two variants, but once two more inevitably come out (likely picture discs on RSD's 2024 and 2029 for the 25th and 30th anniversaries, respectively) I can have a Mount Rushmore of Mounted Rushmore variants... I'd probably use permanent mounts so that they can't be removed, but then I'd have to rush out and get more Rushmore soundtracks and then maybe if I have more Rush records I could mount more Rush records next to my Mount Rushmore of Rushmore records (which are mounted as you may recall).

  4. I don't know how this hasn't been shared in this thread (aside from the fact that it isn't vinyl related), but MAN... it really hits all the right notes for me and finds a way to be both funny and deep in my opinion. Also it honestly left me with the understanding that although I haven't liked much of the latter Weezer I should appreciate what it means to other people. VERY recommended viewing.

  5. Looks like they're ALSO dropping a  Blu-Ray of something called Opiate2 (Opiate Squared) that is supposed to be a short film of a re-imagined version of the single final song off their first EP. Sounds like a joke, but I'm sure the details will be a hoot. When did actual Tool become a toolshed.down.net April first post from Kabir?

There was a time when Tool was my favourite band.... Haven't released anything good in over 20 years, and now this 5 single side LPs! What a bunch of shit cunts.

For me, Paul's project Lusk after he helped write some of Aenima (I don't care if I used the song or album spelling, but I mean the album) and then split was more enjoyable than anything post-Undertow. I like songs here and there so I'm not a total hater, but that's their peak for me... and I can acknowledge that Justin is an objectively more skilled bassist.
