Very cool! Yeah I think they should do a Classic D special release or something with all the live rarities and HBO tracks. The song Sasquatch is one of my faves and I was very peeved that not only did they not play the song on the last tour where the opener was Sasquatch, but also that the aforementioned opener was fucking horrific to behold.

Just a heads up, guys: I saw them last night in Raleigh and the dude at the merch table said that they sold out of all their vinyl the night before in Charlotte. You should still go see them, though! The sound guy was not pulling his weight last night... it got better as the night went on, but was pretty rough at the beginning.

Semi-off-topic... I bought a bunch of records off a dude on Discogs and they were all supposed to be NM/M- and one of them (Art Blakey & the Jazz Messenger - Buttercorn Lady) is a little scratched on Side B (nothing intolerable, but certainly not NM!). I emailed him about it and he said to just see if there was anything else in his store that I wanted of equal value and that we would just mail on another the records (me returning Blakey and him sending me the new one). The snag, though, is that I realized that he sold me the Stereo pressing thinking it was the Mono pressing and supposedly (I'm completely basing this off of the Discogs prices) the Stereo pressing is worth waaaaay more than the Mono (which seems kind of counterintuitive, but whatever.) So what do I do? I kind of feel like there should be a repercussion for misleading on the grading, but I'd rather hold onto this LP... just let it be?

I've been loving Evens for a while now... I wish my local store would get that Deathfix album!!! I could just order it from Dischord, but it's in no way limited, so why not pick it up at a brick and mortar?! Plus I'd save money with shipping costs factored in. As long as we're pimping Dischord titles, everyone should own all Faraquet and Medications titles...

I figure now is as good a time as any to ask again; does anyone want to trade the Lou Barlow test from the first series for a Tortoise one? I have two Tortoise tests and only need the Lou Barlow one to complete my set.
