I haven't received mine either.

I don't think about them---I just buy them. There are many 7"s with exclusive b-sides or tracks that are only available on that format. My biggest complaint is that the cost of a 7" is a bit out of control. You shouldn't have to pay more than $5 for a 7".

Looking for the RSD Craig Finn "Honolulu Blues"/"Rented Room" 7". I have a copy of Ryan Adams "Do I Wait"/"Darkness" for trade if you're looking for that.

I'm sure that many of the 7"s didn't come with that feather. I ordered mine directly from Merge and received no feather insert.
