the funk is literally eating me alive.
 
going to spend most of my time cleaning and focusing on being a dad, because 1, that needs to happen, and 2, it might be a pretty good distraction.

As someone that just lost another friend to suicide this past week. Don't consider it Sean. No matter how hard your life is right now, it will not compare to you family's life living without you.

my buddy jon hall has done a bunch of art for girl skateboards and he just found a  bunch of the originals. trying to get one off him.

I live in the Tampa bay area (in safety harbor - a suburb of tampa and st pete - 30 mins away from each).

State theater (on central - 600 block) - larger shows like face to face, teenage bottlerocket... size bands (maybe like 1200 capacity)
Local 662 (on central - 600 block) - smaller shows like guttermouth, old man markely, TSOL (couple-few hundred capacity)
Fubar (on central - 600 block) - tiny hole in the wall bar that can fit maybe 100-150. there are not a ton of shows here but i caught the Ataris there last year.
Janus live - large courtyard venue - outside - couple thousand capacity.  i just saw rancid there a couple months back. Also on central but down towards the water.
 
Record shops
- Daddy kool - not great but mostly new releases, show tickets, cds... this is on central in the 600 block
- planet retro - good deal of used records come through here, prices can be a bit high at times but i have scored some killer stuff here.  they just moved again and i havent been to their new store yet but its on central near the taco bus.
- tampa/ybor - has microgroove.  its a small shop with mostly used vinyl and its pretty good.  its in seminal heights like 10 mins from downtwon ybor/tampa.  worth the trip as there are some good places to eat in that area.
- sound exchange and Mojo records/book - are both in Tampa near the busch gardens area of town... maybe like 45 mins north of st pete.
 
st pete has had several new breweries open up along central. i have been to cycle brewery and thats pretty nice place.
 
the burg, the bends, octave, the emerald, fubar... are all places/bars i seem to end up when going out in st pete but there are a decent chunk of bars & restaurants in the area.
 
taco bus is a 24 hour joint that is pretty popular with everyone.  They have veggie and vegan options if you are either.
 
Not sure if you are a dog owner, but st pete has a nice dog beach that we usually hit up a few times a year.

only been married a week, but we have separate accounts.  It just seems easier at the moment, but I'm am sure over time we will combine forces.  She has a debit card to my account in case of any emergencies and we have a joint savings account but that's it.

I can post a video at some point i believe. We did livestream the event in one of the intertubes for those who couldn't make it.
 
The dance took a lot of practice, but it all came out. I think i only missed one step. I am all soul, no rhythm. As these things go there were some minor hiccups, but nothing major. Mostly our fault for not making sure everything was communicated to all the necessary parties. After walking down the isle one of the groomsmen sat in the audience instead of upfront for an unknown reason. More than one person knocked over a small speaker during the ceremony because the wires weren't secured and then the music system crashed and didn't play the recessional song. The wife of one of my groomsmen got trashed even before the cocktail hour and fell over numerous times during dinner and dancing. The photographer got some nice panty shots as she was failing around on the floor like a wounded turtle. A buddy of mine left the hotel without checking out and then his card was declined, so i picked up his tab. good times. I was pleased, and more importantly she was pleased. After 10 years of "when are you getting married", i am looking forward to "when are you having kids?"

I believe that each time we update with a new zip file, you will get a new email. (I will refrain from posting new folders with photos of cue dogs and rabbits every five minutes... although... that seems like a decent idea too, now that I consider it.)

Here's a suggestion of what to ban from your wedding -- "we are family". If some crazy old aunt goes up to the DJ and asks for it, he should say NO and hit her with a water-balloon.
