  1. ^ a broad release for Tennessee was promised when they announced the picnic edition, but it hasn't been brought up since (that I've seen).

They should have been released throughout 2010 according to this article.  :P

But I can't even be annoyed by that since Sabot's prices are more than reasonable and their quality is pretty outstanding, at least it was for That Much Further West.

  2. Has anyone that has had seem splits actually tried the label that put these out, and not just complained when an exclusive distro didn't have extra inners lying around?

SRC simply distro'ed 1500 copies on an exclusive color. Why would they have more inners lying around?

I think they had inners lying around for the Brand New release they did through MOV.  So that's why people are contacting SRC instead, I think but could be wrong.

  3. Agreed but still, some European people said it was high for them.

Wait, so what you're trying to tell me is that MOV is marking these up higher intentionally because they know demand is so high for these records??? Preposterous a business would never do such a thing like taking advantage of consumers to add to their profit margin!!!  Higher revenue is so not punk rock.

      :P

  4. Anyway, can't believe the rarer variant is still around, especially how quick the gold went.

I don't think the gold is really sold out at this point.  Yes it went quick from the 3 distros that it sold out on, but they were definitely not given the task to move all 3500 copies of the gold version, I think we'll see plenty more golds pop on other distros and in stores as it gets closer to the release date.  So assuming that those distros only sold a fifth of the 3500 gold and SRC has to move all 1500 exclusively(which would be double that of the sold out distros) I'm not really surprised its taking this long to sell out.  1500 is large amount of records to sell especially at a price of 40 dollars and as seen in this thread there are people not really willing to pay that much. Just my two cents as to why this it hasn't sold out on SRC yet, and I could definitely be wrong about my speculations.
