These arrived from Century Media today. Can't believe I scored everything for $108 shipped. It was double boxed with bubble wrap. Easily the best packaging I've received in a long time.

$3 total at the Goodwill. All three are in great shape. Probably the best thrift store score I've had in awhile.

I get boners left and right.
I masturbate on an almost daily basis because I'm so filled with testosterone from lifting and being a fucking man.
I don't wear fucking jewelry.
I don't even like taking pictures.
I'm the goddamn man.

I would love to see Rent pressed on vinyl as well as other Broadway shows/musicals

withengineheart reacted to emoishxc in Recrod Distribuitor Rage
This is just a random rage venting and who knows, maybe I'm wrong.
I'm going through my records and just looking at them for the first time in a while and it brings me back to some random rage I get when I buy certain records, more importantly when I buy multiple variants of the same at one time.
I remember when the first pressing of Brand New's The Devil and God...came out and I was quick to pick up a copy of each. Sure enough they got sent to me and non of them were labeled which color. I guess I could have just made a small slit but instead I basically started opening one after the other until the last one was left. It felt kind of like Russian roulette as I was sitting there hoping the last one would be the most limited pressing, which it was not.
Anyone else have similar beef?

I'm thinking so. But regardless of what those people called music genres, Pg.99 was still awesome

Is this people the younger brothers/sisters/new generation of those funny fellas that used label all kinds fast music (emo, metal, hc...) as 'grindcore' in the early '00s?
They wore scarves and white belts. They were into Corn On Macabre and loved Pg.99.

Maybe if you tell them that you're someone, and someone who has 8k+ posts on VC they'll take your call. I wouldn't advise using any of the insults that you used above if you want them to take you seriously, though.

Unless they take out all the records you ordered and put in records that you didnt order (which they havent done to anyone else yet) I dont see why you wouldnt be happy with what YOU ordered.
And yes you are a moron. You constantly start shit, have a holier than thou attitude, and more importantly, see that a companies sale blew up and was taking longer than expected to ship orders, then order at that point and complain after two days that you havent gotten shipping confirmation yet. That is pretty much what a moron does.

Some people in this thread would never be able to survive outside the continental United States if they think the shipping time for their Oldies order is taking a long time.

withengineheart got a reaction from passionbrand in great jobs for record collectors.
Same gig as Olsvik,
I work in an independent record store / pub that sells new vinyl. I usually work days when we get our shipments so I get the opportunity to snatch up any items that interest me before they hit the floor and make orders for customers and myself. Employees get around 30% off depending on the wholesale price so yeah.. my small apartment has gotten significantly smaller after working there for a few years..

That's true...I'm not a huge Wilco fan but I'd say Nels Cline has a spot of this list. Also Johnny Greenwood, St. Vincent, and Prince all have a shot too.
