I got mine after IIOI's set, but I saw people buying it at the end of the show as well. I may be wrong, but I'm assuming they aren't taking them with them to Japan and Europe, so that's 21 shows with the vinyl and 400 total. That comes out to about 19 per night. And Boston was a sold out show, so it doesn't seem like it will be difficult to get one later on in the show or at the end.
 
And no, Saves The Day just had CDs.

I got this tonight as well. Totally forgot to ask if they're limiting how many they're selling per night, but there was a sign that said the gold is out of 400.
 
Also, spoiler alert, the picture doesn't do justice to the booklet, which you can barely see has the album title on it by spot gloss. The lyrics and song titles on the inner pages of the booklet are all spot gloss as well. Makes for challenging reading but looks pretty damn sweet.

I got my deluxe today as well. The shirt should fit nicely just because I have experience with American Apparel shirts. The slipmat is dope as hell. And the record of course is beautiful, both in how it looks and how it sounds. I didn't hear one pop, no surface noise whatsoever. The mix is so balanced it just sounds fucking gorgeous throughout. I loved these songs from the first time I heard them in the telegraph sessions, but it continues to grow on me listening to the actual album and I love it more every time I listen to it. This could definitely be my AOTY.

Honestly, $28 for a 180g 2xLP with a 12 page full-color booklet doesn't sound that bad. If labels are able to sell single non-180g LPs with a single page insert for $15, which I think is pretty reasonable, then I don't see how $28 for this package is that absurd.
 
I ordered because I wanted Pedro The Lion's Control and It's Hard To Find A Friend and was pleasantly surprised to see that Barsuk offers free priority shipping for orders over $40.
 
Anyway, I'm just stoked to finally get my hands on this for less than 40-50 bucks.

So goddamn good!

I just had to bump this because I saw the movie in a theater yesterday and it was just fantastic. I felt a very real and deep connection to it and I feel like a lot of people can feel the same as I do because it's so well done. I love how minimal it is. The soundtrack takes a front seat in the movie along with the gorgeous cinematography and the superb acting of Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. I highly recommend seeing it in theaters if you can or at the very least renting it on demand or on itunes. I didn't even know that it was available on demand and on itunes starting on the release date, so that's awesome that they made it so accessible even though it's in limited theaters. I'm glad I saw it in a theater though because the sound is larger and the cinematography is just that good. I loved this soundtrack prior to seeing the movie and I love it infinitely more now after seeing the movie. If you're on the fence about buying this or seeing the movie...do it. Do both. You're welcome.
