  1. Hello Everyone,

I’m going through a divorce right now and am in desperate need of funds to pay off debt/ have a money cushion for things. All records have been stored in a record shelf in a smoke free home and are at the least VG++ to EX condition.  I can send pictures if you are very interested. I put the average price or the price that it was sold last from Discogs next to a lot of them but I am taking reasonable offers on them all. Some I have priced a little more because they mean something to me and that’s what it would cost for me to get rid of them. I have some signed slowdive, Brian eno , some rare Sun kil moon records etc. thank you .

This is exact same thing happened for me! So frustrating. I ordered mine from 1-2-3-4-Go and about to reach out to them for support.

Damn! I was hoping you’d have the extra outtakes disc. That really sucks. Luna basically said there’s no way to get a replacement since they are sold out of the red. Was thinking of emailing xl directly but never did.

The new album is absolutely fantastic! Longtime RA fan happy to see him back and making classic records again.

Liberals like Alyssa Milano pretty much ended the Me Too Movement once and for all with their massive hypocrisy in supporting Joe Biden with their vote so now is a great time for Ryan to come out from hiding.

I think it is so fucking funny this dude is supporting an outspoken liberal artist (Ryan Adams) while also using Biden’s sexual assault accusations as a knock against liberalism while again also supporting someone with sexual abuse allegations against him (Ryan Adams).

    Brilliant.

I actually don’t listen to any of those bands anymore. Same goes with Brand New, Michael Jackson, and even idiots like Smash Mouth for playing a show during pandemic.

I just find other bands or artists that scratch the itch for me. When I hear songs like “Nobody Girl,” it really gets hard for me to relate to it like I did in the past. Instead, I’ve gotten into bands like centro-matic, or war on drugs, that resonate with me in the same way that his music did.

Same goes for, let’s say... “Pretty Young Thing,” by Michael Jackson.  I just can’t. But, instead of separating the music from the artist, I turn to the millions of artists out there NOT guilty of molesting children or soliciting nudes from underage people.

Hell, I even bail on bands and artists that behave abusively toward people. Sure, it may not be illegal, but I’m not gonna support and relate to an artist that objectifies his “friends,” dangles fame in exchange for sex (even if they do take the bait, it’s cringey), and belittles them when they don’t reciprocate? It’s just gross, and I can’t help but think about it when he’s crying in his lyrics about “look what I did to youuuu, look what you did to meeee.”

Absolutely to each their own, but I think it’s fascinating to see that fans don’t realize he’s also very abusive toward them. Like someone said earlier, it’s kinda crazy how similar his behavior resembles that giant orange that just lost an election. Maybe there’s something to that?

I honestly respect the hell out of you for this. Some of those bands music has meant too much to me to have been able to disown it. But we must actively challenge and call out these people.

Yeaa but did morrissey’s views create traumatic experiences for people personally?

People can have their political opinions but sexual misconduct is a whole different beast.

but then again people still like Anthony kedis who had sex with an underage girl , mike Tyson who was convicted of rape, and James brown beat his wife with a lead pipe

You can pretty much single out every classic rock band for sexual misconduct on one level or another. That’s what I hate about everyone singling out RA is, the music industry has been mostly free of the #metoo era criticisms even though it has been rife with sexual misconduct forever. Bowie raped 2 15 year olds, I’m assuming you aren’t listening to his music anymore? Led Zeppelin of course was well known to sleep with underage girls etc.

im not saying it’s right. It’s in fact very fucked up.

But the music has always been separate to me. It’s meant something to me separate from who the artists are as individual people, if that makes sense?

I didn't say Embryonic was bad. I said it was the tipping point.

Here's their new one from this album...

Dude, this is objectively bad. The band sounds like they aren't even trying, and Wayne's auto-tuned, half-baked musings about religion and love are uninspired and Lennon-lite. Personal feelings about Wayne aside, it doesn't even hold a candle to some of their best work, and Drozd shares responsibility as the main composer of the music.

The Lips provided me with some great musical insight and amazing times at their shows, and I wish them the best... but I just can't do it anymore.

You can have your own opinions on the music, I think the song (as well as the kings mouth album) have been some of their best work since Yoshimi . As far as his personal life goes, you sound like a TMZ level  dipshit.
