I could not care less how my Blink 182 records look.  I don't buy them to hang them on the wall or show them off.  This newer trend of looks being the most important thing started about 5-7 years ago on this forum and it needs to stop, like, yesterday.  All that truly matters is whether the record tastes clean and clear, with that fresh and waxy flavor, and gives your teeth that "missing a tooth" look that 12 year olds do in the school production of The Tempest.

All he said was "I have this record; I might be open to offers" - the rest of you dudes put it on him to give it to some loony BTS superfan who has hooked people up on RSD before. Then you turned on him lickety split because he listed it on Discogs. It's his record; he can sell it (or not sell it) for as much as he wants.

Just buy the new one, and then tell them it's defective and send them back your old copy.  I did that with a warped copy of Ok Computer and it was super easy.

I did score RIDE tickets for their Philly show in September, though, so that's going to make me very happy.

Finally got around to listening too Them Are Us Too- this is so good, if you dig the Cocteau Twins (especially Heaven or Las Vegas) you should really check this out. Really nice pressing, too. Mine is very quiet.

If a bootleg is using music of a struggling artist, then I'd understand being a douche about legal/copyright issues. But the big companies that are having their music bootlegged are extremely rich. It's not taking money away from anyone who needs it, even if this guy were making "loads" of money off these he is donating a portion to charity and is a nice dude overall. Honestly I don't understand why people would go to any lengths to defend a cash cow of a company, especially when it's over something that the company wouldn't even be slightly affected by.

Well the fact that he is taking time out of his life and likely some of his own money to press these, knowing that they will likely never see an official press, I am appreciative, and I am sure others are as well. 

Maybe that is outside of some people's realm of music so they don't know about it? Seeing as they only really bootleg shitty top 40 rap. I'm not sure how this guy is getting downvotes - these are illegal pressings. Castlevania games might collectively have some of my favorite non-Zelda video game songs but I really don't see the point in buying from this dude. Might as well start buying DVDs from the random bootleggers standing around NYC.
