I've met dudes that have played with the Ataris in the past and though they are very polite about their experience with Kris, it's pretty obvious to tell that it's all only nicely spoken words hiding obvious irritation toward their stint with Roe.
Also, I fully enjoy a good fedora. There was a time in which I would have received many a compliment on a well sported hat. haha to be honest, he probably didnt follow your advice cause he actually had to run out to the van...... he told me to wait a couple minutes cause it was the rush after caspian.i got a beer and cursive was setting up so once they started playing he went outside and grabbed a box (which holds 15). he checked the box and gave me 5 more, and i asked if i could grab a couple posters and he said it the second to last day before they were off the tour, and to take a small stack. so i said fuck it and got a poster for each record. ben was cool though, really chill dude. he asked my name and i told him my real name then said tokimedo right after haha.
as far as how many i picked up, i got a total of 20. 17 accounted for, or 18 if my friend decides he wants a copy for himself. already have a few people wanting the extras so dont PM me cause i dont want to disappoint anyone.

Haha caspian merch dude was kinda Shocked. I think his name was Ben? He asked if I had a distro and I told him I was actually just doing a group buy for VC cause some doucher was trying to flip the extra copies he bought and i hate flippers. MTB merch dude was like, "whoa, youre buying a whole box?! Well, the dudes will def be stoked." I think I just made their tour with that purchase hahaha.

Mission accomplished, got a poster and a record for everyone that asked. Wish i could have stayed for the show but I had to get back for work in the morning. Literally went in for 10 min haha.

im just kidding about the suit. it is pretty silly. but think about it like this: rush is a prog juggernaut and have been for 30 + years. if they would have offered something like a space suit when moving pictures or 2012 came out it would fetch stupid amounts of cash in this day and age and btbam ARE traveling down this road. When I'm fifty trying to tell my now 2yr old kid about this classic band and she's listening to that classic "skrillex" record I'm going to remind her about a space suit that put her through college.

I can't say that I am. I get the impression you may be? - my post was directed at the ambiguous audience of "lolthrice" contributors. Not you or anyone in particular. I'm sorry you've become irate or offended.
I do find it amusing that there's always a group of people who roll their eyes any time a Thrice thread surfaces. And, granted, there are quite a few... but for as much "love" as the band gets here at VC, there are an overwhelming amount of sourpusses who jump at the opportunity to clutter threads relating to the band, or comment on an inflated number of threads pertaining to them. I do think it's ironic that that audience is absent in threads from the aforementioned bands. Except for Brand New. Everyone loses their marbles over Brand New, and everyone else knows it.
