Maybe if I was debating "upgrading" to the newest smartphone or tablet but I'm talking about money that's going towards an artist that I care a lot about and would like to see continue to perform and write music. EDIT: Yes, I realize most of the $70 doesn't go directly to the band but I know 100% isn't going to someone on eBay.

The price is ridiculous but how do I not buy this? Serious question...

Bummer. I bought the vinyl and a t-shirt and shipping to Canada was $13.75 which is reasonable.

$20 in Canada, at least in Calgary. I didn't hesitate to buy it though.

I thought about it too but my original is worth more to me than what they're selling for now. This and the deluxe FTM were my first records. I'll buy a black copy of this when I see one in a store.

My copy is warped too but plays fine. I feel like the gatefold contributed to the warping. And yes, every Silverchair record should be re-pressed so more people can enjoy them.

"In my opinion" doesn't mean anything if you haven't actually heard the products. From what I've gathered you're just reading specs and other people's opinions and have little to no personal experience with any of the products that you mention. Having said that, if you like what you have, that's great but stop giving advice like you have actually heard the products that you are comparing.

I just remembered that I have a Shure V15 Type III that I'm not using. That may also be a good option. It has a Tonar branded stylus on it right now, under 50 hours. But I also think you should give the cartridge you have a little time to break-in.
