  2. If you're desperate, Monster Music down in Charleston is probably the best record store down there and they had a bunch of Susto stuff last time I was there. You could call to see what they have and what they would be willing to ship. https://www.facebook.com/MonsterMusicSC/
  3. Got my deluxe today and I don’t really get all the hate for it. Whether or not you actually subjectively like the extras that were included (insofar as a lot of it is abstract photos and stuff like you would expect if you’ve ever seen anything Brand New has produced) I think they justify the extra price. Seems like a lot of people would have been happier with the standard packaging and just a different color vinyl. Anyway, i think it’s pretty cool, I’m glad I got it, and I look forward to listening to it.
  4. Interested but it’s showing as $23 estimated shipping for American Graffiti and French Ghetto. Anyone know what it actually is?
  5. This is gonna be good you guys. No preorder link up on Top Shelf yet. https://specialexplosion.bandcamp.com/album/to-infinity
  6. I’ll need to relisten to this. Volcano Girls is my jam, but I don’t remember the rest of the album much.
  7. Got that YMAEWK today. Should be good unless they drop something else I like.
  8. Not to be for YMAEWK today for me. Picked up Strawberry Girls because those songs crush.
  9. I haven’t done this in prior years, but snagged Fire is Motion and will try for YMAEWK. They combine if you get different lathes on different days, right?
  10. I use The Vinyl District when I travel, which works well, though this would be nice ahead of time.
  11. That one set of footprints, that was when the real limited edition was carrying you.
  12. Picked up the 180g black repress of Spilt Milk by Jellyfish through Reckless mail order. It’s been a good month.
  13. Didn’t really need anything this year, but stopped in at the place down the street at 5:00 this evening and got El Corazon, which is the only thing I was even mildly interested in.
  14. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ https://joshritter.merchtable.com/mobile/products/gathering/gathering-fragrance
  15. Was in Charleston this week and got a real nice haul at Monster Music (great store): The Long Winters - Ultimatum Waxahatchee - Out in the Storm (VMP Pressing) Elliott - False Cathedrals (red vinyl) King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King (a nice early pressing to replace my beat up copy) Matthew Sweet - Altered Beast (been looking for this for years) Also picked up American Blues by the Star Killers (Julien Baker’s earlier band) from Shangri-La Records mail order and my test pressing of the new album by The Collection, Listen to the River finally came in the mail. Good week!
  16. Such an important question: cream or beige? Are we 100% sure they aren’t the same thing?
  17. For those who may be interested, Shangri-La Records in Memphis has copies of American Blues from Julien’s previous band, the Star Killers, on vinyl. It was supposedly limited to 300 and is probably reasonably hard to come by, but I ordered it last week and got it today and it’s still showing as in stock. Not sure how many more copies they have. https://shangri.com/product/american-blues/
  18. Just another upstart band trying to establish itself by riding the coattails of their elders. Sad!
