  3. Worked for me. Kind of lame that they charged sales tax (in CA) for Prime membership.
  4. I can usually find the Loser Editions with the bonus stuff locally so I'm gonna wait on that. Will definitely be getting the box though. Gotta keep my Mogwai collection complete.
  5. Looks like Sub Pop is going to distribute the box set in the US. Just waiting for the pre-order to go up now. I guess there's gonna be a colored vinyl Loser Edition with a bonus 7". Curious to see if the tracks on the Loser Edition 7" are going to be the same at the ones on the box set 7".
  6. The box set is up for pre-order via Sandbag in the UK. It's $142ppd to the US. Since they're only shipping via courier to overseas, it's $51 just for shipping alone. (The box is $91.) Gonna wait to see if they can get Sub Pop to distribute the box in the US (like the Les Revenants soundtrack). http://mogwai.sandbaghq.com/music/rave-tapes-box-set.html
  7. Kind of a surprise to get this in the mail since AMR said they weren't gonna ship this until November. Here's a pic of the etching. Kind of underwhelming but nice nonetheless.

  9. They're previewing another live track here. https://soundcloud.com/user3105090/this-will-destroy-you-there I can't express enough how great this live album is.

  11. The vinyl pressing of this actually sounds pretty good. Since Magic Bullet usually gets their record pressed at United, quality is kind of hit or miss but I will say that the vinyl is good.
  12. MOV has bigger US distribution these days. I'll wait to pick this up at a shop. Not too concerned about getting the colored vinyl pressing.

  14. Looks good. I'll probably still pass since it's the same master as the recent pressings. The sound quality on those were pretty bad.
  15. The TWDY live album amazingly good. It's a great recording. They managed to capture their live sound almost perfectly with it sounding like a bunch of overdriven distortion.
  16. I was actually referring to reissues of the actual 7" singles. I know there was supposed to be a singles box set around the time of the Box Set release. Not sure who nixed that release, Danzig or Jerry Only. It'd be nice get vinyl reissue of the Who Killed Marilyn single (Spook City USA is an awesome song.) Didn't know any of the current Caroline stuff had been remastered. The current pressing of Earth A.D. sounds pretty bad. I might have to seek out that remastered LOB though.
  17. 18. Smith and Burrows (Tom Smith from Editors and Andy Burrows from Razorlight/We Are Scientists) - Funny Looking Angels is also a good Winter themed album. (Although not all the songs are about Xmas.) I'm glad I got a vinyl copy of that last year. Looks like there are a few on eBay.
  19. Damnit, none of the record shops around here got that Clash best-of in stock.
  20. Grabbed this. It's a short enough album to fit on one-side. Can't wait to see what the etching looks like on the vinyl.
  21. Trying to figure out if I want this. NFG's "Nothing For Christmas" is a great song and it'd be nice to have on vinyl. I could do without the rest of the album.
