Got this in the mail today. It's definitely not a shoegazer album. I Don't Mean to Wonder is not indicative of the overall album's sound. It's nothing compared to Slowdive which was far more about controlled feedback and loud. That said, it's a good album. More space rock than anything. Dancey at times. It'll be a grower for me.

Picked up a test pressing of Rush's Vapor Trails Remixed today.

Clear is retail. Saw one at Amoeba but didn't pick it up since I already got the cream.

They're not reissuing any of the old original Plan 9 stuff because Jerry Only and Glenn Danzig can never agree things. That's why the 12 Hits From Hell reissue from years back got canceled. I'm pretty sure Warner Bros owns the rights to WAU so that's why it keeps getting reissued. As for Samhain stuff, that's all Danzig. Who knows why he doesn't want to reissue any of that stuff.

Got my bundle today and scored the half yellow/half clear.

Is it safe to assume that this will be the same master as the current pressing (as well as the RSD pressing)?

Finally picked this up at Amoeba. I used that $30 for $19 Groupon so it only cost me $19 and it came with the free 7" single. Not bad.

Yep. Mine is like that. The arm on my turntable sways back and forth. It looks like the record is pressed slightly off center. It's definitely the most obvious on "So Far Away" though.

Same here. The Bags Unlimited ones fit the 3-4 LP boxes just fine. For anything bigger than that like the Lillingtons or Teenage Bottlerocket boxes, I'm just using a regular record shop carrier bag. It's better than keeping it bare and getting wear and tear on the boxes when I take them off the shelf. For the even bigger boxes (Slayer, Stone Roses, etc) I've just kept the shrink wrap over them to provide a little bit of protection.

Does anybody have any pics of the original CD release of the Lillingtons' Technically Unsound box set with the steel box? I have the regular CD version but I've never seen a pic of the steel box. Thanks in advance.

Just got mine. No variant but it's cool. I lucked out on the Lillingtons metal box set so it's all good.

I'm good with my UK copy of "Snap!" If I can pick this up at some point for under $100, I'll bite.

The non deluxe are clear and blue via ITR mail order but I'm not sure the US retail versions are colored vinyl.

I don't think ITR have shipped these yet. The non deluxe versions are in shops already. Not sure if they are colored vinyl.
