  1. *hasn't read through thread in a few weeks* *goes to last page to read back* *immediately sees someone talking about a Silent Alarm repress* *heart skips a beat*
  2. There are 120 people on the MCR repress thread right now. What a beautiful thing.
  3. Oh my god, the number of people reading the thread right now is hysterical. Also, got my copies with the discount code, ended up being an even $48 after shipping to the store and donating to the HT Foundation. Now I can tell my friend who was gonna pick up a copy for me tomorrow that she doesn't have to. Peace, idiots.
  4. I guess not being able to fall asleep before 3am does have its benefits on days like today. Reeeeaaaaally shouldn't be spending the money on these things, but if I'm gonna run myself into the ground to buy some fucking records, it might as well be MCR records. (Don't worry, I planned for these stupid things in my monthly budget, regardless of how tiny that budget is.) Side thought: I just remembered the very real possibility of this thread getting clogged up with the "vinyl" crowd complaining about not being able to grab a copy over the next few days. Not really looking forward to that, but hey, we've made it through worse, am I right? Good luck, you champions, you.
  5. Every now and then I somehow end up reminding myself that Matthew Broderick was the voice of Simba in The Lion King, and I say "wait, really?" to myself every single time.
  6. Other ATL people, is there a vinyl section at the UO on Ponce de Leon Ave or am I just blind? The website says they do have one, but last time I was in there I couldn't find it to save my life.
  7. I was never into these dudes before but this album is fucking great. I'm going to Atlanta to bum around tomorrow, so I might swing by Mall of Georgia on my way back and see if they have this in stock.
  8. I'm gonna have to pass on pre-ordering this (I somehow just now saw this, right after I pre-ordered the new DGD album with what little spending money I had for the time being), so I'm just gonna hope I can find a deluxe copy at one of the shops I frequent. If not, no big deal, I'll probably buy it anyway.

  10. As much as I'd love the splatter, I can't justify $42 on the bundle. Looks like it's a cyan copy for me. Honestly, though, if the album is as good as the teaser makes it out to be, I don't give a damn what color the record is. I'm super psyched for this, can't wait for the first single to drop!
  11. I started watching Kaiba recently; it's really interesting and the drawing/animation style is super unique. I can already tell it's gonna be sad, but for some reason I love sad anime, so we're all good.
  12. Black Parade is the only one I actually want, but I work all day so I can't go pick up a copy... I'll try my luck online, but if anyone could grab an extra copy just in case, I'll buy it for retail + shipping + a few "thank you" dollars if I'm unable to get one for myself.
  13. Oh man, there's a new dog at my town's shelter and he's so adorable! If he's still there on Friday I might go visit him, and if I like him enough, I might put in an application for him for my graduation present to myself.
  14. Holy shit, that video got me psyched. Semi-related to the thread's original topic, I actually sold my Loser Edition copy of the first album like three months after I got it, and regretted it immediately. Then, a few months after that, a mint condition copy (including the 7" and the sticker) showed up in my local shop's used bin for $12. Needless to say, I was very excited.
  15. That's one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard about Ghostly's customer service. They're always so on point when I've had issues in the past, but it's great that they ended up sending your replacement, albeit a few months late, haha.
  16. Huh, that's strange. The UO in Atlanta didn't have hardly any sale LPs when I was there last weekend. Then again, I didn't look very hard, but I might have to go back this weekend just to check...
  17. I have an OG copy (got it for $10 on clearance at an Urban Outfitters in Atlanta last year), but I do kind of wish I'd been able to grab one of these. I love how the labels look with the stamp on them.
  18. I mentioned last week about the Peaking Lights 936 Remixed 12", but never actually posted what all I ended up getting that weekend. So, here's the rest. Everything in the picture was out of used bins, so I got a ton of great deals. In fact, the only thing I paid more than $8.50 for was the St. Vincent album (paid $12).
  19. Push Pull had me interested, but the new song didn't do much for me. It did take me a while to get into Push Pull, though, so maybe I just have to give it some time. For now, I'm just gonna wait until the album is up on Spotify and give it a few listens before I decide to buy it at all. (Also, not that it matters much, but I got my teal copy of Shrines from my local shop a few months after it was released, and I too was under the impression that teal is/was just the retail variant.)
  20. Apparently it's also pretty hard to read a few posts up and stay informed by yourself. (Coincidentally, I just read through several pages of this thread to get information before making this post)
  21. I haven't posted in three days, but since then, I've had pizza twice, consumed several vodka tonics, and revitalized my love of pad thai. If anything else, this week has been a great week for the foodie part of me.
