i thought vinyl collectors were bad until i sold a few steelbooks from my own personal collection. i have actual diagnosed medicine prescribed ocd and i just dont understand how picky some people can be. ive had to issue a refund for about a third of the steelbooks ive sold, and i would put my hands up and take full responsibility if there was some visible, tangible defect, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. one guy asked me if the shrink wrap on one of the blu-rays was in perfect condition (with no snags, tears or air bubbles), but at least he had the courtesy to message me (it was fine, but i told him politely that i didnt think he should buy it). these guys want next level mint condition, but some of the standards they set are unreachable.

Some of y'all are silly.
No one is out there plotting a scheme to destroy your eBay or Discogs side business. There is no magic computer glitch that allows eBay to take your money and leave you hanging. Returns happen. Neutral feedback happens. It's part of running a business. An adult should be able to process a return without being emotionally wounded and instantly developing an elaborate theory that he or she is being scammed.
Now, if we're talking the Illumaniti, yes, they are OUT THERE and they WILL try and mind control us through images of bull horns in Rihanna music videos. But a majority of buyers are normal people who want the thing that was described in the listing and see it as normal and not a personal attack to file a refund request when it isn't. And sellers want to sell and only deal with cases where they made a mistake or error.
Thanks for the fellow stories of being blasted for being a buyer/seller. It can be a jungle out there every so often and it's nice to hear from cool ladies and dudes who are not into the tribal warfare method of record buying/selling.

I'm sure I saw this in a buy it now auction for $200 last week? I don't know if it's the same seller but nobody was biting.

i should mention im in the uk so it may take a bit longer for you US folks. i got a shipping notification on the 19th september.

got mine just now. looks nice, pretty standard vinyl digital. not had a chance to play it as im at work.

Here's a pic of the storage that I build a couple nights ago. Nothing fancy but it does the job and really provides some breathing room for my main storage! For now I'm using the bottom section for empty record mailers...but I'm sure that it will eventually be filled with records too.

Considering that the Platinum VIP and most of the Gold have been sold out for a lot of the shows even before the reissue was announced is irrelevant in this discussion. Now granted, if people who already have either of those VIPs decide to get copies and flip them, that's their damn business. Surely it sucks and feels wrong for all of those "more deserving fans" who need a reality check and their inflated sense of entitlement knocked down a few pegs.
 
If the peach tour-only variant were the only version out there available, I'd somewhat understand the bitching and moaning. But it's NOT! There are plenty of black 180-gram copies to be purchased and there was plenty of time before the Grey one sold out.
 
This of course begs the question...why are people complaining that they can't get their hands on the peach tour one b/c of "those damn flipppers" when there are two other versions to be had that are/were more readily & easily available?
 
Some people it seems get completely twisted up if they can't have a complete record collection of a band (whether they actually listen to the records or not is another can of worms to open up) because they're unable to get that one limited variant. Do you honestly think a band gives a rat's ass if you have each and every single release they've put out in every single minute variant?!?! Oh, I forget. Having it all is the badge of being super fanatico fantastico number one!
