Yup. Derek nailed it. Im just over that early sound of hers. And I know this will piss some off but her voice isn't my favorite. The best part of the new song was the instruments. Her voice just doesn't fit for me sometimes. I have to be in a very specific mood to really let her music grab me. She's a great artist no doubt.

Why has no one mentioned how atrocious that album art is? Gross. Song is pretty good though! Variants are boring and I don't feel like ordering something that isn't going to be here to Feb 2021 so I'll just see how much I like the album and then decide if I need a copy. Clear is my go to right now though. Splatters are so worn out on me.

Well this is a surprise

Hell the fucking yeah. I hate it so much.

Can confirm this album is nasty! I'm on my like 6th listen in 16 hours and loving it more each time. Cleaned out my garage yesterday and it was a great album to push me along. If I had to compare this to anything it would be like Diiv and Turnover having a love child. Leave Yourself has a heavy Diiv vibe and there are moments throughout that remind me of Turnover. The beginning of "Whatever" sounds like it was straight ripped from a Diiv song. There are a few slower/softer moments on the album that are kind of ehh but not terrible. Like the song Silver. All in all I'm super happy with it and I'm going to have to find me one of those nifty first presses that sold out.

Honestly this is one of the worst pressed records I have in my collection. I'd recommend saving your money unless they redid some stuff but I don't think they did. I've had 2 separate copies now and they are both ass.

Not sure how this slipped through the cracks but here I am. Liked their switch a few years back. Bottle It Up is catchy for sure IMO. Shame all the variants are already sold out.

Nice! I was very sad to see it go. I loved categorizing my own records and putting info in there that I wanted and then making it all look the same. Excited!

Yeah famdom is weird. I'm a pretty green Deftons fan though so I'm not mad at all. I'm excited for the album for sure.

I'm in the same boat Derek. Pressing numbers and "limitedness" don't mean jack to me anymore. Also I think I figured out why I don't love the new song just yet. Chino's delivery feels off to me..

Cant say I love it..I'll have to see what it's like in the context of the full album but by itself it isn't anything too special. Kind of a weird choice for a single to be honest.

Dang not what I was expecting to see today. They are pressing the wrong SEA albumt though.

Damn $50 total is steep. Given the circumstances though Im okay with it. This seems like it will be a nice press and a good package.
